Evidence in writing the plan was going to be to keep Lucy on day shifts following the two triplet deaths and baby Q collapse.

I can’t believe what I’ve just read! They couldn’t get any further up her a. Big Susan was clearly kicking up a horrendous stink. How could her parents think it was their place to speak to these people as if they had any say in anything??
Letby was moaning about Breary only setting aside 1.5hrs for mediation!!! Demanding her apologies. Urgh they make me sick.

Long email from Karen Rees to AK about how she feels, and surprise, it’s doctors vs nurses again!

Why is a senior Clinician allowed to destroy someone's career, without any clear evidence? We know that if LL goes off sick (and I am worried for her health and wellbeing) or leaves and claims constructive dismissal, LL career in health care is finished. I cannot tell you how upsetting this is for me, considering she is at the beginning of her career, at 26yrs of age. This is not right!

There is also the impact, not only for the NNU but for the rest of the organisation and the message that this sends out - a Clinician is being listened to and supported, with potential devastating consequences for a nurse.

How are the nurses on the NNU going to react? I have already witnessed that senior nurses on that unit, do not even want to answer the telephone to that particular Consultant, who is making these allegations and making clear of his personal view.

It was a sad day for me yesterday. The frustration and emotion of not being able to change the decisions that have been made, compounded by the unfairness of it all, makes me sad to think that we still appear to hold Clinicians in high regard...the same not afforded to nurses.

I will continue to work in the Professional way that is expected of me, however, I had to say how I feel.

So am I to understand that they had to convene a meeting at one point because her father had rung up to rant, and they could hear her mother weeping and wailing in the background, to the extent they were concerned for her wellbeing?! bleeping hell 🫣

I was just reading the minutes of the meeting they were at!!

They are livid she was getting a collective apology
“We were promised four apologies”

I wish they published all 7 pages and not 2!

absolutely blows my mind they attended bloody meetings at her place of work!’

Basically it was extremely difficult for anyone in the NHS to raise concerns about Letby and to arrange a proper investigation. If they tried they would have not only the big bosses but Lucy's Mummy and Daddy to contend with.

It will be interesting if we ever hear about what consequences the doctors were told they would face if they did not apologise.

She did that little interview with her face hidden too and I’m sure she denied that phone call.
