I forgot my dear old dad was coming to help me with some DIY today so I can’t follow properly yet. Hope the bbc footage is available later. Is it a continuous live stream?
Yes it’s a live stream. I truly hope the “celebrity” rentamouth fuckwits are listening. It’s a very comprehensive account of her crimes so far. Little room for their bleeping nonsense theories. Hope the penny is dropping that they’ve been duped by Gill and Adams.

Wow, the pathologist did not see baby D’s X-Ray that would have shown all the air including air at the site of the IV line in her case 😞
I always wondered why Myers didn’t call the original pathologists. Now I know why.

I find the almost informal tone of the conversations of the medics in their police interviews really compelling. It’s funny how just in snippets you can hear the human and the natural feel to their statements and how weird and unnatural Letby’s are in comparison.
---
I’m just at poor baby I and oof Powell is going to take a battering isn’t she. Crikey 😣. “Her response sets the tone of what was to follow”. Shameful.

Dad’s gone now. I found the inquiry stream on iplayer and can also stream it from the start.

I wasn’t expecting a live stream. I assume it will be only for certain witnesses it won’t be streamed then. So pleased.

Was it Ms Powell that went out for cofee with Letby when she was suspended ?
Wonder if she still thinks she innocent now.
Think that was Karen Rees ( HR lady) Lucy did a major charm offence on her, when she wanted to go back on NNU.

Im wondering if Eirean Powell, is a mumsnetter, there are a couple of die hard Lucy supporters on there. Maybe she's been trying to get on public onside.

Thank you for posting a way to listen from the start as I’ve been snowed under at work today and want to try listen. Not been able to follow properly either so just been reading bits on here, the bits that I have read I hope it does put some of these NG people to shame - the pain they’ve caused the parents coz they haven’t bothered to read in depth is ridiculous.

I just hope they keep it up once it’s finished rather than only when it’s live streaming. I had to look for it in the news section. And it would probably come up if you search for Letby too.

@slingo16 they've mentioned two “non indictment deaths” after child J and she’s on duty for them because Breary asks Powell to update her chart and there Letby is again at ALL the deaths. Now I’ve lost my place in the live stream trying to record it for you. Will try and find it again 🙄
---
They’ve just said she was there for 9 of the 10 deaths in that period 2015 up to feb 2016.
Breary also makes the good point that 6 of the 9 deaths happen between midnight and 4am. That’s quite a lot. This was why the GP that twigged on to Shipman but was ignored was suspicious. The deaths were always in the afternoon.

Do you think Doctor U, is Dr Noname or did she befriend another doctor?

I'm sure she's killed far more than she's been charged with. The death rate was through the roof during that period of time. How Richard Gill thinks, amending the chart to add more deaths for Lucy, makes her look innocent, I don't know.

Yep that’s definitely Noname. Jesus that’s a lot of messages. How many were while supposed to be working 🤬

so by March 2016 Breary has added the sudden unexplained deteriorations to the chart and Letby is obviously there for all of those. “We still need to talk about Lucy” 😨 that could be the dramatisation title right there 😕

Has Rachel Langdale KC spent the whole day reading out this information? I can’t imagine how draining that must be to do for hours on end!

Yes and with Shipman the local undertaker also reported her concerns because all the deaths were at home but people were not dying ill in beds in their nighties. They were all fully dressed and sitting up on the couch. She said that in all her years working at the family business they were almost the only deaths at home which fit that pattern.

It’s quite incredible isn’t it really 😑 one lady I remember had not long before been on a pilgrimage, some had just got back from shopping in town. Or they’d just had chats with family and were fine not long before. Bit like the nurses describing the babies as pink, wriggly and handling well and then they’d be dead not long after 💔
With Letby the smoking gun is not just the times (and of course the way it then follows her to day shift) but that it’s also so often just as nurses and families leave the nursery. Really similar to Shipman case in this respect just different circumstances.

Just on baby C. I feel we are already hearing far more than was reported from trial. The statement that Letby suggested using a ‘gadelle’ (sp?!) and took the lead on using it early on in resuscitation which was unusual.

The b saw these babies as her plaything, toys with which she could demonstrate how good a nurse she was

This is interesting they think someone changed the doctor's reports. Quite scary how they wanted her to return to NNU.
Wow wow wow. That’s the doctor from London who is now saying the conviction isn’t safe! (I think)

Christ almighty. This inquiry is going to shed a whole ton of light into what went on. Just reading through the snippets here is gobsmacking
