I actually felt sorry for her mother when I first heard the verdicts. I take that back. How deluded is this woman? She shouldn't have said that in earshot of the real victims. She still has her evil offspring, they don't. Sickening.
Exactly the same. I can’t stand parents who think the sun shines out of their kids arses and don’t believe they could ever do anything wrong but she takes it to a whole new level.

So wait, has she travelled to court for a day out from prison and then refused to come out of the holding cells?

Could Karen Rees be done for manslaughter/aiding and abetting? Just thinking out loud. I don’t know how that works.

Honestly cannot wait until the NMC strip her of her PIN so she can’t be called a registered nurse ever again. Makes me ill as an RN to know she’s still technically one.
The people who write up the NMC hearings have a biiiiig job ahead of them.

bleeping shocking, there is something seriously wrong with this piece of tit. This parent isn't from the trial, just shows how much more there is to come out.

Lucy Letby: Mother fears killer nurse harmed her baby in act of revenge | UK News | Sky News

Ms Artell says she and her husband were discussing how their premature son was making good progress on the unit when the couple noticed Letby eavesdropping on their conversation.

She says, out of the blue, Letby told them: "I don't like parents getting their hopes up because we never know what could happen at this stage."

Ms Artell, who was herself a nurse at the hospital and had suffered numerous miscarriages, made a complaint to senior staff on the ward.

---

The next day, the mother briefly left her two-day-old son's bedside to get a coffee. When she returned, nurses and doctors were gathered around him, drawing the screens.

He'd had a huge spike in his insulin levels and was receiving urgent treatment.

Makes me think about those idiots defending her like 'oh but there were handover sheets for babies she didnt attack' and 'oh the facebook searches don't mean anything because she searched for babies she didnt attack too'.... OR maybe theyre ALL babies she DID attack and we'll see all of those brought to court eventually
A lot of people who don’t know the system and haven’t been on a jury think there has to be some smoking gun of evidence that absolutely ties everything up in a bow. Without that one key piece of evidence that a five-year-old could understand, they waffle on on Twitter about “reasonable doubt” and “scapegoats” and “being set up” and other nonsense.

There was a wealth of evidence against Letby which when stacked together and presented at trial, showed she was guilty. The jury did not convict of some charges where the evidence didn’t quite stack up to the right standard in their minds, and that I understand and respect.

Just burst out again reading that the families who'd received a verdict returned to court to support the families who hadn't yet had a verdict ❤.

Just heard that she is no longer going to appear in court! If you were in any doubt of guilt (and I never have been) those are not the actions of an innocent person - how can sue get away with that! Face the consequences you absolute witch!

Surely Lucy won’t be allowed around normal prisoners?
Well, Rose West mixes freely with other (Category A) prisoners and she committed ten murders, all of young girls, including her stepdaughter who was a young child. So it remains to be seen.

My husband is buying a candle on his way home tonight, so we can light it tonight in honour of the babies, and the families.

I love how he knows that I'd like to do something.

💛
That’s so lovely of your husband, I will light a candle tonight as well for the babies and their families 💕💕💕💕
