I agree, her instability (if any) and possible over indulgence could well have contributed to Lucy’s make-up growing up. We might find out as time goes on.
It all seems so self-centred. It’s interesting that Letby seemed to reference her father more after seeing that.

I do sort of worry about phrasing like that as it could well play into her ego. In a way it would be better to present her as a total loser, not some all-powerful character.

I thought they would know.
My Mam would know if I was in any kind of trouble just by looking at me.

Ok I have to go out and then go to work, so by the time I’m able to start reading again I’ve no idea what thread we will be on.
Like so many of the others, some that have been here from the beginning, some that have been here for part, I’m also kind of lost for words and don’t know how to put it into words exactly how I feel right now. You’ve all been amazing and it’s been a long nearly 10 months but we are finally here, there’s been many times I didn’t think we would get here, but here we are. I’m still so gutted for those 4 babies that have not yet got justice, but hopefully BNE will come through again and get her for them too. Still think the jury will regret those ng/hung verdicts now all this new stuff has come to light and shows just how bad/evil she was. We knew there would be more, but wow, still wasn’t expecting some of what has come out since, it’s far worse than any of us had imagined. And yes the irony of “it’s a cover up”! But we needn’t worry, this thread will be around for a while yet, new charges, documentaries, new trials, interviews etc etc so it’s not goodbye yet. Hope everyone is ok and sending love to y’all
But I have been dying to know what @nosycowmoo and O’lee have to say that they couldn’t before. With the thread moving so fast and me having to go out and to work soon, can someone pls tag me into their replys/posts so I don’t miss them. Any other shocking info from anyone else attending court, or from family members/colleagues etc that are speaking out and have posted on any other forums, pls tag me into also. I know there are a few on hols and having to take breaks but pls pls pls someone tag me in so I don’t miss it cos the threads are only going to move faster as more comes out and people finish work for the day/weekend @gigilouxx and @IdeletedbutI'mbackagain @F1Grid @Deeznutslol @MmmB777 @Tofino @docmum @studentgossip @blueyfan3684 @DianaBanana you’re all very regular contributors so pls one of you tag me in

Definitely. Maybe not even Lucy know how many victims she have.
Even if the babies didn't died some of them will be experiencing life changing disabilities
I have a daughter who was born May 2016, different hospital and perfectly healthy, not premature but still I have this feeling "what if, that could be us if we were less fortunate "
The work that has gone into this investigation, I hope we will never see the lije again, the police CPS, especially BNE, I salute each and every one of you

I'm with you on that. I would even say it was a narcissistic move from Lucy's mum. Not even a thought about the babies.
I think Lucy's parents need to lay down low - which they should've done from the beginning, because they're not going to get out of this unscathed.
