Wtaf happened to this thread when you were all unsupervised last night 😩

sending love @Caledonianprincess had realised you were quiet. I tend to disappear from being present in most of my life when I feel overwhelmed though I do feel like being on the thread (when things are normal for the thread) is a safe space for my brain. I’m glad you shared with us how you’re feeling and I hope you will see this as a place of more comfort and safety.

@Tofino we were up at the compass point on the hill on Tuesday evening and I have a photo of him pointing at the IoM. Can’t believe we are so close, annoyingly I know I’ll be looking out for ‘Louise Thompson with her mouth open’ you by default 😂

@raspberryjuice thinking of you lots and just sending a massive hug and love ❤

Huge love to all those that need it today. We go again 💪🏻

Any day for a verdict will suit me and hopefully soon!

What other cases have everyone followed.
My first was Scott and Laci Peterson in the states.
other ones fully invested in just now are
The Delphi Murders, that poor girls justice is coming for them soon.
Idaho ones to a lesser extent.
The mushroom poisoning one is just weird
and Madeline McCann ( although I dipped out as sure nobody will be charged for that one, they got away😞)
and Andrew Gosden the poor boy that went missing.
There are others but these are the main ones I keep an eye on mostly.

Isn’t it strange how lots have said a Thursday, I voted for that one just because it felt right and was surprised when I saw the results! I’m saying either today or the 31st… and that means it will be neither of them😒

Long time lurker here, actually found this site while looking for discussions on Letby (reddit & websleuths just aren't my cup of tea - MOO 🐮 )

I'm also following the mushroom poisoning & recently followed the A24 crash trial which has ended (with Mahek Bukhari the 'influencer' and her cheating ma)

The Nicholas Alahverdian / Arthur Knight saga is still ongoing and I'm following that - right weirdo that guy is

I think it will be this morning - because it's my chazza shop morning so I wont be able to keep looking here!

Delphi definitely got to me the most (before this). Obviously everyone deserves justice, but those girls especially. They did everything right to get the perpetrator caught (photos, video recordings) and when it looked like it would go cold I just felt so awful that they tried so hard and it hadn't come to anything. Thrilled they've finally arrested someone.

I’ve followed the Delphi Murders, I’m so glad that they will hopefully get justice soon 🙏🏻 really didn’t think they would ever find the culprit for that one despite the girls’ phone evidence.

I’ve voted Friday (not saying which) just to be chaotic.

I’d be really happy if it was today but won’t hedge my bets on it.

I followed the Star Hobson trial, I was heavily pregnant at the time and it really got to me, broke my heart and I haven’t sobbed like that since! I try to stay away from reading things to do with child abuse as I get in my head too much, I feel like I can never stop reading even if it gets too much for me because they lived through it and couldn’t just stop reading so I owe that to them. I don’t know, anyone else like this?

I followed Star, Logan and Arthur’s cases closely and there were so many times I’d end up in tears just thinking about their suffering. I think when you have young children especially, it hits you harder, because it’s against all your instincts to harm them or let someone else.

Yeah I really think it does. The psychology behind it intrigues me because I just can not wrap my head around it but I’m not too good at coping with the actual crimes 😞

Delphi is the biggest one I have ever followed in terms of long running - I honestly never thought they would catch him! So relieved they did. Everytime i see Doug Carter get emotional over the girls it gets to me because you can see how much him and his team have done to get justice for those girls.

Idaho 4 I have followed but not quite so closely.

Sian O'Callaghan & Libby Squire both really got to me. Two young women who were just out doing what young women do and fell into the wrong hands.

Claudia Lawrence - think it is pretty obvious what happened there but until someone needs to break whatever pact of silence is going on I don't think she will be found.

The Andrew Gosden case baffles me completely. I’ve been checking in for years to see if there’s been any developments but nothing. Unfortunately the police really failed with this case as they didn’t check the CCTV cameras for a long time afterwards (can’t remember how long but they’d been wiped by the time they did). I really hope they find out what happened one day.

I have spoken to my mum this morning about everything that is going on and I feel a bit better for having spoken to her. I just need to do as I have been doing with the family member previously and take a step back. I was doing so well and my wellbeing improved tremendously so time to do that again

I just finished reading a book about Kenny Note’s years on the run after killing Stephen Cameron.

There was a bit that made me laugh out loud in absolute despair. They were talking about his trial. I wish I’d taken a screenshot but I’ll paraphrase: ‘given that jurors tend to like getting things wrapped up in time to enjoy the weekend, the verdict came in on the Thursday’.

I don’t know which jurors the authors (Donal MacIntyre and Karl ‘Brush Strokes’ Howman, if you’re interested - it’s very good and Noye himself is interviewed throughout) were referring to but they certainly couldn’t say the same of the lovely lot in this trial.
