Bit late to the party but yes, I tend to rinse them in the sink to get any stones/mud off, pop them in a pillowcase and then in the washing machine they go. For best results, take the shoelaces out too (right faff though). Don’t forget to take them out before you put everything in the tumble dryer though, it’s an expensive mistake you only make once 😬🤦🏼‍♀️
