Been away for the weekend and that was an epic catch up 
I’m a nurse - currently working agency nights (been in older peoples nursing for over 20 years). Was a Care Home Manager prior to packing it in February this year as life is too short
Before that I worked as a midwife for 5 years (mostly labour ward)
Tomorrow I’m a witness for the prosecution in court and it’s fair to say I’m crapping myself. Never stepped foot in court before 🫤
If I won the lottery I’d buy a property in Lanzarote - my happy place

With Rome by the time you’re up in the air and they’ve done the drinks trolley you’ll be getting ready to land so don’t stress too much. It will go really quickly. I’ve got an obsession this last few days watching 24 hours in police custody and I really would want to see the investigation behind the scenes capturing Lucifer and what she was like in interviews. Wonder if she started with a ‘no comment’

So my top tip other than just having gin is.. I just look at the stewards
. My worst bits are take off and landing and any slightest turbulence. So I just look at the stewards and you’ll find they’re all chatting or smiling and it helps me see that absolutely nothing is wrong. Think how often they do this, they’re just totally chill and gossiping and getting on with things. Are they probably thinking “why’s that alcoholic woman with the two double gins in aisle five staring at me?” Yes 
but it really works. The rest of the time I read. It’ll be well worth it to get to Rome

Morning , fingers crossed that today is the day justice is served. It's important to be thorough to ensure its all done properly but the families have suffered enough waiting its time for them to have the verdict and let them begin to try to heal .

If not today, I reckon this week - based on their q’s they’re either going in chronological order in which case they’re nearly there, or just decided the ones they can’t agree either way on, which would also seem to be in chronological order so feels like we’re drawing closer to a verdict. Could well be wrong though!
Morning all. I’m away for work and have only had a couple hrs sleep cos I can’t sleep in hotels which means I’m wired with caffiene to get through the day and the 6 hour journey home later. If it happens today I won’t see it come in live as no chance to look at phones in the meetings il be in but will catch up on pages and pages on the trains later. Let’s see what today brings! This week I reckon.

He’s missing his 22nd and my 21st, and when he’s back from Brighton he has to move an hour away for 5 nights a week. We’ve always lived together and I’m really sad. I’ve got a Chinese coming and I’m about to run out and get some prosecco. I’ve come on my bloody period really heavy too. Please send some lovex literally me rn :

Orlando is absolutely amazing I've not been since 2003 but can still remember what we did and even from the time I was 5. Would love to go back one day. You will have an amazing timeI used to find cleaning therapeutic until the kids came along now it’s just a mission to get anything done around them.
We’re going to Orlando in early October. Never been but always wanted to take the kids. Managed to save a lot over lockdown and decided to go for it. It has flown in tbh. I’m so tempted to start packing suitcases soon because I have to be organised. My husband has told me to calm my bits down.

I've been very lazy this weekend and feel tired just reading what some of you have done. I live on my own so the house doesn't really get untidy. The garden though
with all the rain we've had it's like a jungle out there and I hate gardening.
I've been feeling a little sorry for myself as my back has been playing up (arthritis in my spine, which affects balance, walking, grip when it's really bad), it's foggy and damp here this morning which isn't helping at all.
I don't think we'll get a verdict today.
