I don’t like putting the bins out but where I live the bin men take them all to the end of the street to empty and leave them there so you have to collect (sorry if this is explaining the obvious, I’ve had people in other areas baffled by them doing this) and I am an absolute hawk for watching them come to empty them and trying to get straight out to collect my bin so I could do bringing bins in
it’s more challenging recently because they’ve been sending a bloke round in a small van who drags them all to the end and then the bin van is a couple of hours later for the emptying.I know I have no life whatsoever!

Aww I love Tenerife. Perfect weather all year round, gorgeous sandy beaches. You’ll be just fine, you’ve got this! Hope you and your kids have the best time, you deserve itOh gosh I hated cleaning when mine were younger, (how old are yours), as it was pointless, we used to do so much arts and crafts also the house was constantly covered in paint and glitter so I didn’t see the point. But mine are older now and do you know what! They are both pretty tidy!
Omg how amazingyou guys are going to have the most amazing time! We are off to Tenerife (not nearly as exciting) , it’s my first time taking the kids away without Mr B (actually first time I’ve ever been away abroad without Mr B
, we have been together since we were 15 so I’ve always just followed him around the airport never done it myself 🫣). We are going in a couple weeks time. If I stop posting on here, I’ve got lost and not managed to make it back

I need to as I have a cat who likes to sit behind every bleeping curtain in the house and they get covered In his fur! Hoovering them doesn’t cut it.
Also if I have inspired you to wash your curtains, make sure you don’t tumble dry them! They will Shrink!! Best thing to do is just hang them straight back up right out of the machine, they will dry quickly enough if you open a window and the creases fall out. Also makes the room smell amaze
My two will be 8 and 6 when we go abroad, so a good age for being able to do the rides at Disney etc.
Also agree about the cat fur on the curtains! Mine do the same

Wtf I’ve never heard of this!! Why would they do that ?? . My bin men are amazing, years and years ago now, when my eldest was little and I was pregnant, I always forgot bin day! So they would collect my bin for me and put it back in my gate. They stopped doing it when youngest started school. Probably decided I was taking the piss by then 
She's still not well, we spent the evening in A&E, just couldn't keep her temp down, resps were really high and she was letbargic. We're on day 3 so I didn't want to leave her overnight and wait for the GP tomorrow. She's got tonsillitis so we've got some antibiotics and hoping they work quickly. Poor little thing, she's so fed up.
Ah no. The NHS act like tonsillitis is no big deal but it can make people so so poorly, especially small ones. My daughter gets it really badly too.
Hope the antibiotics kick in soon (I can never get them in via throat when it's tonsillitis though 
always end up covered in bright yellow amoxicillin) and she's on the mend. Also, Mr Brillo passed on that dicky tum to me
