So the judge has read out the statements, and rather than being able to discuss them while they are fresh in their minds, they have been sent home.

Make it make sense.
Am hoping they had note books and wrote it all down (as much as possible)

I work with people like that, our meetings often over-run and I can almost guarantee who will delay it further with questions.
Do we work at the same place?! It drives me mad I’m usually whining in my head “I wannna go stfu” hahah

I know they can't provide every scrap of evidence in the jury pack, but given this case has over 30000 pieces of paper in the files and has been spread over 9 months with untold breaks, including 2 weeks at Easter and christmas, it seems a bit remiss to not at least provide the agreed statements and make them rely on memory and notes.

I mean this isn't a normal trial by normal standards and there are 22 freaking charges to cover.

I actually feel for the jury but am hopeful that if they are looking at attempted murder charges now based on questions they've asked that perhaps they are decided on the murder ones already and just going through the more difficult ones.

Or they are going chronologically in which case we'll be here for weeks

I’m also keeping hope that they worked through all the murder charges first and they are now on the attempted murder charges, rather than going A, B, C, D etc x

I’m really baffled that they don’t have parent statements in the bundles actually. Wow.

I was going to ask this. My child is flat out refusing to come with me and I really want to see it. So enjoy it for me too xxx
Just got back, not my favourite film of all time, but did enjoy it were some really funny moments and also emotional one‘s though I didn’t cry. We had a really good day though, we all went head to toe in pink!!! Our entire outfit right down to nails, socks and scrunchies and most the cinema was the same, everyone looked fab. I think the entire experience was really fun and the kids had an amazing time, wish I could show you a photo of us all! We got so many looks on the way there as we took the train!

I’d deffo get some gal pals to dress up with you and go Doc 💕💖💗💞💓was such fun 💕💖💗💞💓

Massive congrats @Tofino you smashed it, though didn’t expect anything else 🥳

I don’t think they’ve any way of knowing for sure. I have a friend who works for the CPS and I asked her this, she said most of the time when a juror has been found to be doing their own research it’s because they’ve accidentally outed themselves by saying something that wasn’t part of the trial and then another juror has reported them
Not that I’m a grass or anything, but I’d be reporting anyone who was coming out with any RG type rit 💩💩💩

And very well deserved @Tofino.

Love it! I wore a light pink skirt, bright pink top, pink denim jacket, pink socks, pink scrunchie! And we also all wore pink nail varnish and pink eye shadow and pink lip stick! 😆

She isn’t going to be found guilty of all the murders and all the attempted murders. I think there was some sloppiness in that hospital. The very fact that she was able to kill repeatedly proves that people didn’t have the courage to report her. She attacked many of those babies for certain. And definitely killed some of them. There won’t be a full guilty on all counts. The baby given insulin, that is easily argued into a not guilty.
These vunerable areas in hospitals need to have secreted cameras in them, unknown to Doctors, surgeons and nurses alike. Letby won’t be the last of her kind.

Hmm to be fair I’d find that too hard to do. Most people would be curious as to what’s been said online etc. hopefully verdict soon
This is why the archaic system needs to be overhauled, those yellow nicotine stained looking wigs need to duck off too.

Weirdly, whilst freaking out over here, iris by the goo goo dolls has just come on and reminded me it’s one of my favourite ever songs (late addition but maybe a good sign that it came whilst I was self destructing over a tweet from Dan)
I have fond memories of drunkenly falling asleep while kissing someone to that song after a night out years ago Woke up to a bad hangover and a light-up disco ball still spinning!

How can the insulin poisonings (x2) be ‘easily argued into a not guilty’? LL herself agreed the were not accidental.
I won’t be holding my breath regarding secret filming of staff at work being permitted.

I’d be scared to report someone as surely that would automatically result in a mistrial😬couldn’t bear to imagine that happening in a case of this length and severity😨

Massive congrats to @Tofino!🎉

Since insulin seems to be potentially dangerous and hard to track, CCTV in the insulin storage room might be an interesting idea. It wouldn’t impact on patient privacy but might put people off getting unnecessary supplies.

That's so much information for them to be expected to retain for this long, then be able to have discussions about them 🥴

It’s mad how much automatic trust is instilled in us regarding nurses, paramedics, plod, fire people etc

You can’t flick a ciggy in a city centre without being caught on CCTV and fined but it’s unreasonable to expect CCTV in areas where our most vulnerable are

Obv not every emergency service worker is a Lucy Letby or a Wayne Couzens but for duck sake it’ll just happen over and over again
