If they’re going through the attempted murders after having gone through the murders I wouldn’t be shocked if they serve up a verdict on Friday afternoon. But who the hell knows.

One things for sure, if we get the inevitable BBC/ITV drama it’ll go on for about 50 episodes as opposed to the usual 3 or 4.
They could do a whole drama on the jurors at this rate 🤣

I mean this in jest mostly - it's a very complex case and as someone who struggles to stay focussed listening to a trashy audiobook I would be totally out of my depth.

Has anyone else noticed that a lot of the people you interact with don’t seem to even know about the case? Or they vaguely remember seeing something in the news a while ago about a nurse killing babies but they didn’t realise she was on trial? I feel like a bit of a nutter mentioning it to friends and colleagues when they have no idea what I’m talking about but I think this is huge!
I think I've just been lucky. Everyone I've mentioned it to has known about it, and as well as that, were firmly of the opinion she's guilty. 🤞🏻

At this point I’m seriously wondering WTF they actually *do* have in those bundles? Hundreds of thousands of pages of what exactly, if all the useful stuff is missing? And to read them out then send them home straight away as well - facepalm. They’re not making it easy for these jurors, are they?

Hoping those of you who’ve suggested they’re working by murder then attempted murder cases rather than chronologically are right 🤞🏻

I was wondering if someone could clarify something for me. Did all of the nurses have a butterfly on their work badges? Or just LL? Not entirely sure how you might know this, but I thought I would ask anyway.

Just when my son was in the NICU (not one anywhere near LL), there was a baby who had a butterfly on their incubator and I found out that this meant they were a surviving twin.
I took a break from here at the Christmas break, and just stuck to reading online reporting as I was struggling.

Hey to the old Matalan wearing lot who were here at the beginning 👋🏻 Hope you're still rocking your live laugh love jammies. Just to add I'm ginger as are 1 outta 3 of my kids. Excellent to see there are so many of us 🤣

Anyway back to the topic, yes a fair few trusts implement the butterfly scheme there were a few on the Inc's in the NICU we were placed in & I was scared to death that we'd end up with one on ours too.

Really hoping the verdict will be in soon.

Touching on the social care sector chat (won’t be too specific about which area I work in as it is tattle. You all thought I was Beyoncé/a dildo on a bookshelf at one point, I know, I know 😜).

There are many individuals who work in the sector that are not nice. Yes, there are not nice individuals in all job sectors you may say, but when you work with some very vulnerable individuals who need and deserve heaps of compassion, patience and a lot of help, then these types of people should not work in the sector. The fact that some warped people are driven to be so utterly cruel to people in their often times most vulnerable state, is disgraceful and there should be a lot more safeguarding around this. Preventative measures could do with being re-thought. A lot of good eggs in the sector though, I may add.

I've only been posting in the Letby threads since May, thread 33, I feel like I've been here forever.

I was reading the threads from the start so don't know why it took me so long to post.

My mum bought the twins some clothes from Matalan today when she rolled in with her body bag sized matalan tote I died inside thinking of here.
And in true Matalan style the clothes are full of sequins🥳
Yesssss. When you shop at matalan you truly do “leave sparkles wherever you go” 😅
I was today years old actually when I found out it’s called Matalan because the owner’s sons are call Matt and Alan 😭

Oh we’re on page 50.
Any requests for a poll. I might just do a simple Will the jury be unanimous/majority/mix of both for different charges poll.
