Surely it can’t be both of them still unwell 🙄 ETA if sickness is the reason anyway!
I really don't know, I wish I could just put this trial out of my head until the verdict is announced. I estimated we would hear this week but I think we will be lucky if we hear by the end of next week at this point.

I don’t wish to tar you with the same brush as myself , but as a nurse, there were many times when I accidentally took my handover sheet home in my uniform pocket. However whenever that happened, I would always transfer the sheet to the pocket of my next clean uniform to make sure it was returned to the hospital the next time I was on duty. Although I admit to hoarding tendencies (and I find it hard to discard paperwork), under no circumstances did I keep confidential documents in a carrier bag under my bed or in my parents’ garage. I found her claim that she was storing the handover sheets confidentially at home to be highly arrogant and risible.
We've all made mistakes like this because nobody's perfect. The difference between us and Lucy apart from being a murdering psychopath is that we own our mistakes. In the case of handover sheets this would be taking them into work next time you're on duty or putting them through the shredder that's conveniently in the spare room. Not storing them under the bed and coming up with ridiculous and unbelievable excuses.

Can we stop with the pen size talk. My girlfriend says the big ones hurt anyway…

FFS this is so frustrating. It must be so awful for the parents when they are so near the end now. How does it work; might the parents get more information about what is going on or will they only know what’s been released to the public?

This is really awful. I assume someone is properly sick but how has this been allowed to happen? Why aren't they all in a hotel until they've decided - isn't that usual? Then they wouldn't be catching bugs (or less likely anyway) or doing whatever it is they're doing. This seems genuinely bizarre. I don't think I've ever heard of a jury just having a 3 day (or more) pause in the middle of deliberations.
