I said the same, and a little. it more besides, when I left two of the fb groups weeks ago...I couldn't stomach their rit for any longer🤣
---

Such a ridiculous question...whether it was false alarm or genuine call for help....that's just ot something any " normal nurse" would say😡
There are a few sensible people, but Ffs 😧

Sorry for the merail
Posted before on here about a close friend I had being a narc and how some of LL’s behaviours remind me so much of this person.
The childhood comment is another one of em, so the narc I knew loved sympathy, would actually encourage badness on her life for the attention. She was also a bleepin liar, and once one sympathy party had ended she’d either deliberately seek out another one or failing that, make something up. One of them being an out of the blue comment that she’d had an abusive childhood.
This is what I think LL’s done. These people do anything to make themselves look like vulnerable, kind, gentle, selfless types, which allows for their selfish and narcissistic ways to fly under the radar. I don’t believe for one second she had a bad childhood I think the “totally diff childhood” comment is planting another seed of poor Lucy, bless her heart. She knows exactly what she’s doing

There was a comment in her texts to Dr Noname when he was dribbling about Cockington - ‘Dad got offered a job in Torquay. Could’ve been a very different childhood’.

That’s had me wondering ever since. What was it about her childhood that made her think that way. We’ve established that, although she’s not from whatever the nicest part of Hereford is, she’s not exactly been brought up in a favela. So the cosmetic and cultural differences between the two places aren’t likely to be drastic (someone correct me if I’m wrong). So why did she sound wistful and a touch bitter about her childhood?

My speculation is that she was perhaps bullied but, if so, why? She doesn’t stand out physically in any way shape or form. I know there’s no excuse for bullying but did she do something to bring it on herself? Or am I way off the mark and there was some other trauma? These are the things we really need to know about. Nothing can ever excuse what she’s done but if we’re to look to the future and stop people committing atrocious crimes then the only way is to hone in on incidents that contribute to future warped thinking. I hope that makes sense.
I wondered that too. As you say, I don’t think it could possibly excuse or even adequately explain why she did what she did, but it does seem like there is something going on that might give wider context.

This is pure speculation and I’m probably just talking out of my a, but the way she seems to resent/feel claustrophobic about her parents feels a little bit like her resentment for others in the hospital. It’s almost as if the vicious behaviour and comments is a sort of release-valve.

I also think she resented the babies and disliked feeling ‘tied’ to them in some way, as if she doesn’t understand the concept of giving and reciprocity. Everything she says sounds very transactional (when not trying to mimic what typical people do)

I know, how the duck has no one stood up to that murdering witch on that unit. I'd have got the bleeping sack and then waited for her outside to finish her off. That poor girl, jesus she must feel awful. I'm so angry
I don’t get it either. Maybe I’m just a common hoodrat but put me with someone like that as a colleague or patient, I still can’t keep my mouth shut

What a bunch of tadgers 😂
I’m on that group and I swear it takes so much effort to bite my tongue sometimes.
Well done u!!! For biting tongue. I couldn’t … got a load of abuse and then blocked. Husband (who has zero interest in this just tolerates me talking about it ) lol xx

he asked to join group as I was very insulted to be blocked from a group who want a baby killer to be freed on the grounds of I quote (I have screen shots ) “ even if she has done it she has learned her lesson let her go now” absolutely sick in head … minute he asked why I’d been blocked …. They blocked him 🤣🤣🤣 blooming bizarre over there … I then had a wine calmed down and took self off the other three equally deranged groups lol xx

Not a newbie, but would like to affirm my status. I'm not ginger though carry the ginger gene; I love the traditional Turkish delight without chocolate, along with all things floral like parma violets; and occasionally shop in Matalan. Soz.
Rose and violet creams I love them!

I mean she’s most likely gonna have worked with northern girls, scouse or manc etc, we aren’t known for being shrinking violets.

If I was Lisa I’d have been like “you bleeping what?”

I’d have exploded and caused a major bleeping scene if I was Lisa. I’d have probably had to be restrained to be honest, 1. chastising a collegue for asking for help 2. The condescending way she did it.

Even if it was all under control why is she acting like Lisa Walker’s natural instinct to call for additional support is out of order it’s what you would do/want - surely she should be praising her not the opposite.
Exactly, this shows how her ego is more important to her than the babies lives. You’d think she’d want support and to work as a team after all the recent trauma they’d faced on the unit - but no, of course perfect Lucy knows best as always! That’s why babies are dying all around her

I rarely post there, not because I’m afraid of getting jumped on I can handle myself in an argument but just because if you don’t think she’s innocent then there’s something wrong with you. I cba with that mentality. Plus the fawning over Lucy comments are vile imo. They would say the same about here and how we joke but hey ho. I’d be more worried about upsetting the babies’ families than the one charged with their murder. 😝

The judge says Dr Emily Thomas said she had examined Child E and there were no signs he was unwell, and observations were normal, with a soft, non-distended abdomen and no suspicious aspirates.

He was "well and stable".

A nurse noted Child E's blood sugar was higher than normal, and his insulin infusion was restarted at a lower dose.

Antibiotics were given as prescribed.

A doctor said the observations were normal and not a cause for concern, and the high blood sugar level was relatively normal for a neonate and would not lead to the sort of collapse seen hours later.

Haven't caught up yet but have just decided I like far too many sweets! Maoam pinballs, fruit pastilles, M+S fruit sherberts. Crisps cheese and onion all the way but like the lime and coriander poppadom things, wetsuits, frazzles, skips and chipsticks. Sitting here on my break looking sadly at my salad.

It was all the 'be professional ' tit that used to grate on me. I would always raise my concerns if I had any, didn't care who you were or what band you were. If something was 'off' I would say. I can't keep my mouth shut either

I guess we would have been told if there were reports made about how she spoke to “idiot other nurses”

But it seems like the behaviour wasn’t challenged.
