Dr at a and e wasn't interested basically he's peeing and seems bright enough and is feeding often so he's fine. Got told its not an emergency and hv is the one to deal with it. I'm going to keep feeding him myself for now and see if I can keep him going will give myself a couple of weeks and if no weight gain I'll supplement feed or just bottle feed
*hugs*

My middle boy had horrendous reflux, I spent months covered in his vomit and he cried almost constantly. But the medics weren't interested in his slow weight gain as he was a big baby at birth and hitting milestones. Omeprazol was slightly better than gaviscon, but really nothing worked until he was on solids. Even then, he threw up regularly until he was about 3. It's so hard, you're worried for them and also feel like you're losing your mind with the crying. I walked miles with the pram with headphones in just so I didn't flip out.

Is there a breastfeeding support group near you? Even if just for the company.

Big shout, but don't suppose you can confirm if her house backs onto the actual childrens cemetery in Chester. There's been a bit of research into this and the house definitely backs onto the cemetery and appears to be in line with the children's part. It gives me shudders thinking about LL stalking families out of her windows, probably getting some sick kick out of it.

It's certainly not a property i would have picked as a first time buyer.
I got a new bike trailer for my son and decided to take him along the Chester millennium greenway at the weekend, which we’ve not done before, not realising until I started pedalling and seeing the trail that a pic someone shared on another thread was possibly the greenway and it was. So I cycled right between her house and the graveyard. I’m not entirely sure which her house was though and didn’t want to stop and gawp. But it was a bit weird being there after following this case for so long.

THIS MONSTROSITY? I can't bear to look at it....

Ok, finally broke down and googled Turkish Delight when I saw in one of the posts that it comes in rose & lavender as I have a huge sweet tooth & love new things (within reason). I live on the east coast and have never even heard of them except on The Witch & the Wardrobe, I think? They sound ooey and gooey and sticky sweet so they’d probably stay in reserve for desperate times. However, I did just place an order on Amazon for a box of rose, as I generally love things flavored rose (rose yogurt by Libertie is the best!) - hope it is here in time for celebrating the verdicts - GUILTY on all! Now what does it mean if I like it again? 😃
Best wishes for the wee one @Caledonianprincess! So worrisome, I’m sure but hopefully all sorted soon! And a HUGE congratulations to @Lucyxxxx on the best news!

BIB Yeah...another coincidence apparently. Just like the undecorated nursery. This house defo gave her some sick kick.

Quoting myself to add a bit of positivity. At the time it felt like it would never end, but he did get better. He's 10 now, a great eater and healthy. Still a pain in the a, but he's found new ways to drive me crazy that don't involve excessive screeching or puking on me! You're in the trenches right now, but this too shall pass.

Do you think that once current photos of Lucy get attached to post- verdict news articles that public opinion will sway differently?
She looks a bit more haggard - cold eyes, which were often darting from left to right in the courtroom.

Hard really to explain - you can see it's her, but just older (obviously) and harder.

Looking forward to her mugshot replacing that bloody pic of her and the babygro.

I wonder what public opinion actually is (as in the general public who vaguely know about the case, and have just read news articles).

Presuming she's found guilty, I reckon all the stuff we don't know is going to be pretty grim.

2 things that stood out the most today, she should never have taken the stand if she wanted to get off with it and 2 Wowzers I’ve not read the write up but in person it was overwhelmingly prosecution heavy, obviously he said some of the defence but with no defence witnesses to quote it didn’t bode well. It was a really good sum up it really brought it all together. Note to self though- more caffeine needed! I listen to everything sped up usually so it’s been hard to concentrate for sooo long. All in all much better start to the week and the atmosphere in general was sooooo much better today! Phew

To be honest even if she couldn’t see the cemetery through the trees, the close proximity alone is sickening 🤢

Hi all.

Not wanting to blow smoke, but since the internet came about (I feel bloody old writing that), I've been involved with quite a few forums, and there's usually trolls and self-appointed gurus spoiling it for everyone - but the threads on this topic here have been brilliant - all involved show the right amount of discussion, reporting, empathy and humour we have all been hearing some horrifying and upsetting evidence. I'm sure others who have just joined are in the same boat and feel similar - so cheers all!

Been very frustrating not to be able to contribute, but have thoroughly enjoyed reading - especially contributions from Gigilou who isn't afraid to confront and articulate just how evil and messed up this specimen is - I've read and yelled ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON at your posts on many occasions over the last few months!!

I watched at the court on the Wednesday the week they sat for only Weds/Thurs (prosecution cross-exam). It was fascinating and horrifying. For me, she's a psychopath no question. She has this clipped upwards 'yes' she answers to confirm things like a robot. She seems extremely irritated to even be there, when she gets told to find a page in one of her many huge folders I got the impression that she was seething like she's being put out just being there, but knows she has to keep it together. Once she even rolled her eyes very slightly. None of the court sketches look like her imo - one bears a slight resemblance but I forget witch (see what I did there?).

One thing I disagreed with from others reports is that her parents looked 'broken'. Obviously no-one can tell what anyone is really thinking, but they sat opposite me when waiting to go to court with that weird older colleague of hers (not sure if I can put the name, but you know who I mean). They were looking and chuckling at pictures of family pets, then that freak friend of hers at ended a sentence with the words (NOT in a particularly quiet voice) "Poor Lucy". I moved at that point as I found it disgusting. I think the parents are probably in complete denial reading between the lines.

She, like all the freaks on the Facebook group (which I had a look at and left after three days), and the so called 'expert' on twitter etc are simply folk with empty lives, again - desperately wanting something controversial to believe in, in order to get attention (narcissist tendencies once again). Think they've had far too much attention on these threads tbh, it's giving them what they want. Like the people who immediately vote innocent/scapegoat on a new thread. they're nothing more than sad losers.

As many of us have, I'm not ashamed I've shed tears for the families during the prosecution evidence. Personally I'd like to see her put up in Trafalgar Square, injected with air and food and have a stick shoved down her throat, but NG is all we can hope for. It's good to read today's updates after the utter excrement we were subjected to last week.

Waited months to contribute something - great to be able to get all that off my chest!!
Wow.... welcome and thanks for the insight. I hope that friend of hers gets a good dose of the people.

It’s subjective though rough for Hereford is different to say rough for Manchester. I’m from up north and my southern colleagues have a totally different idea on “rough”
Oh this is very true. I have a colleague from the East End who loves to go on about how tough his area was. Always irritates him when I say ‘that’s nothing’ and regale him with stories about where my wife grew up in São Paulo. One person’s ‘rough’ is another person’s ‘quite nice, actually!’

Surely a very high chance that a few of her victims are buried there. Absolutely not a chance in hell it’s coincidence. “I wonder if anyone’s thinking of you today.. or any day”. I bet she visited and it was just all part of her very warped sense of importance and “caring”. Psycho. The book about a baby dying in highly medicalised death too. bleeping sicko.
ETA to add, can’t remember who was discussing earlier about whether there’ll be a confession or not. I really don’t think so unless she wants to get attention, perhaps to earn certain priceless? Remember one note in the garage said “nobody will ever know what happened or why”.

Apparently this happens with littles sometimes. My grandson lost weight for a few weeks and scared my daughter to no end. But he picked up after a while when he got his latch right. She was even feeding him via a gadget sometimes with a little tube that sat by her nipple. A friend of mine had a grandchild that slept continually and his young mother didn’t think to wake her -I know, right? The baby dehydrated and she got told quickly to wake the babe for feedings. I am sure you are doing all you can and the little one will pick up soon. Just take care of yourself throughout and talk to a lactation consultant or whatever you may call them. Hugs.
