Ahem. I used to work on the Bounty brand many many moons ago. There is a very large proportion of the population who are coconut 'rejectors (the sane ones, obvs). Just sayin...
No probs, and yes exactly!Wow thanks for the insight into Lucy’s parents and nurse friend Janet Cox (she has already been named in previous threads). If I had seen this I would def have a different view too. I can understand her own parents being in denial but really can’t comprehend her colleague. If she felt that strongly though then maybe she should have been a witness for the defence!
Big shout, but don't suppose you can confirm if her house backs onto the actual childrens cemetery in Chester. There's been a bit of research into this and the house definitely backs onto the cemetery and appears to be in line with the children's part. It gives me shudders thinking about LL stalking families out of her windows, probably getting some sick kick out of it.Hello, another newbie!
Absolutely love Turkish Delight. The proper posh powdery one. Not the purple wrappered one.
I would be going with Guilty based on what I've heard.
I took an interest in the trial as I'm from Hereford so the articles caught my attention. I would have left school after Lucy Letby started but believe we went to the same schools.
As with all Herefordians there's only a couple of degrees separation and I recognise the surname but will be as clueless as all until after the trial and further details come out.
If anyone has any questions on Hereford I'm happy to answer. She lived on what was and is considered the not so good side of town.
Some of those photos of her online when younger/drinking are in what was called Bar Spirit, ironically up Gaol (Jail) Street opposite the police station.
I must say James Walker’s dogged belief that @Tofino controls everything about Tattle has been one of the most amusing things in the last few months![]()
I thought we decided way back that she smells of Charlie Red or Tommy Girl. Or did I dream that?
I bet she smells of prison funk now. I don't actually know what prison funk is, but Letby definitely smells of it.
I feel like you maybe need to reach out to everybody you know and see if you can bring us some piping hot teaYes very true. And that part of town has varying degrees of roughness. She would likely come across as very middle of the road in how she speaks/acts.
I'm basing this on the clubs she went to and where she lived / went to school.
The house in Chester definitely did yes. It’s honestly going to be as bad as it gets in terms of her depravity I think.Big shout, but don't suppose you can confirm if her house backs onto the actual childrens cemetery in Chester. It's certainly not a property i would have picked as a first time buyer.
I’m localish and there’s a cycle path that separates the back of the houses on her street to the cemetery. Also in places it slopes down on the side- so it would depend where she was on the road. This isn’t the cemetery bit but it’s what the path is like.Big shout, but don't suppose you can confirm if her house backs onto the actual childrens cemetery in Chester. this is so frustrating and something I’ve not only experienced but seen time and time againDr at a and e wasn't interested basically he's peeing and seems bright enough and is feeding often so he's fine. Got told its not an emergency and hv is the one to deal with it. I'm going to keep feeding him myself for now and see if I can keep him going will give myself a couple of weeks and if no weight gain I'll supplement feed or just bottle feed
MatalanLoving all the newbies and their insight!!
Congrats to @Lucyxxxx, sending you love @Caledonianprincess for you little one & love to @A mega Pint xx
I know I’ve been here from the start but I aren’t ginger, I hate Turkish delight but I do have a huge confession…guess where my first ever job was?? Yep, MatalanI hope you understand why I’ve kept this to myself for now and sadly, I do still own a Matalan card

Never apologise for liking the hero of sweets that is Turkish delight! Not shopping at Matalan and liking your shredder is enough for acceptability purposes! I must admit I've never thought she was anything other than guilty, because to my mind there must have been enough evidence for the CPS to allow it to be taken to trial, plus the absolutely abnormal paper collection of handover sheets. And then the evidence started and I never doubted her guiltJoining the rush of newbies! Another ginger (apologies), love Turkish Delight (more apologies), don’t shop at Matalan or wear a Lee Cooper leisure suit. Big fan of my home shredder.
I’ve followed these threads since the start of the trial and can honestly say that despite this being a horrendous topic, you are the funniest, most supportive and caring bunch.
I started off with an open mind, mostly because I just didn’t want to believe that someone could be so evil. I’m now firmly in the G camp. I still cannot get over her writing a draft sympathy message for the parents of the triplets and including the name of the triplet who didn’t die. BM’s GCSE drama project last week was ridiculous but hopefully we’re back on track now![]()
Salivating here
I’d assumed when she was talking about LW it was years ago but the fact it was only a short while before these charges.. that she had “a dying baby” that died and then “was given another dying baby” straight after is extremely troubling isn’t it.I'd love to know if it really is the practice at Liverpool Women's to get straight back into working with a new baby in a space/cot that a baby has just passed away in, or if this is a lie...
It's not a baby cemetery but a section of the cemetery (outlined in red) where babies and children are laid to rest. As someone has already mentioned the greenway is between the houses and the cemetery, but at the part by her house the greenway is level with the cemetery. There are trees lining either side so I couldn't say with certainty she'd be able to see it in the summer months, but I'm fairly confident that in the winter when the trees have shed their leaves there'd be a view to that part of the cemetery from the upstairs bedrooms. There are only 2 major cemeteries in Chester that I can think of.Big shout, but don't suppose you can confirm if her house backs onto the actual childrens cemetery in Chester. Unlucky isn't she how she's come across so many baby deaths in her time and has almost form the start of her careerI’d assumed when she was talking about LW it was years ago but the fact it was only a short while before these charges.. that she had “a dying baby” that died and then “was given another dying baby” straight after is extremely troubling isn’t it.
Your usernameI initially thought she was a bit posh just looking at her, but as this has gone on, I’ve thought otherwise and your post might confirm that. She made a big song and dance about being the first member of her family to go to university and without sounding like a snob, the photos of the parents don’t scream posh to me.
I think whilst she’s obviously not a hardened gangster or anything, I think she’ll be alright inside. She’ll have a target on her back but I don’t think she’ll be in dire straits or anything. Which is a shame but there we are.
