Talk about foreshadowingSome of those photos of her online when younger/drinking are in what was called Bar Spirit, ironically up Gaol (Jail) Street opposite the police station.

Bounty? Sorry no, it's disgusting... but there may still be hope for you, stick around! That’s me screwed then, I couldn’t possibly fall asleep without listening to my true crime podcasts
it a firm no from me. Although I am partial to a bounty… I hope this is acceptable![]()
Ah people are always asking on a fb beauty group I'm in for dupes of this lippy (the original not newer colour)And don't forget the Heather Shimmer Rimmel lippy!
I initially thought she was a bit posh just looking at her, but as this has gone on, I’ve thought otherwise and your post might confirm that. She made a big song and dance about being the first member of her family to go to university and without sounding like a snob, the photos of the parents don’t scream posh to me.Hello, another newbie!
Absolutely love Turkish Delight. The proper posh powdery one. Not the purple wrappered one.
I would be going with Guilty based on what I've heard.
I took an interest in the trial as I'm from Hereford so the articles caught my attention. I would have left school after Lucy Letby started but believe we went to the same schools.
As with all Herefordians there's only a couple of degrees separation and I recognise the surname but will be as clueless as all until after the trial and further details come out.
If anyone has any questions on Hereford I'm happy to answer. She lived on what was and is considered the not so good side of town.

dark chocolate bounty thoughBounty? Sorry no, it's disgusting... but there may still be hope for you, stick around!
It’s subjective though rough for Hereford is different to say rough for Manchester. I’m from up north and my southern colleagues have a totally different idea on “rough”I initially thought she was a bit posh just looking at her, but as this has gone on, I’ve thought otherwise and your post might confirm that. I think whilst she’s obviously not a hardened gangster or anything, I think she’ll be alright inside. She’ll have a target on her back but I don’t think she’ll be in dire straits or anything. Which is a shame but there we are.
I think she will smell of a cross between Red Jeans, musty dusty old paper( that she's collected!) with a hint of the contents of the commode in her garage! And don't forget the Heather Shimmer Rimmel lippy!
This is jarring. I only ever pictured Matt Goss in awighat![]()
Wow thanks for the insight into Lucy’s parents and nurse friend Janet Cox (she has already been named in previous threads). If I had seen this I would def have a different view too. I can understand her own parents being in denial but really can’t comprehend her colleague. If she felt that strongly though then maybe she should have been a witness for the defence!Hi all.
Not wanting to blow smoke, but since the internet came about (I feel bloody old writing that), I've been involved with quite a few forums, and there's usually trolls and self-appointed gurus spoiling it for everyone - but the threads on this topic here have been brilliant - all involved show the right amount of discussion, reporting, empathy and humour we have all been hearing some horrifying and upsetting evidence. I'm sure others who have just joined are in the same boat and feel similar - so cheers all!
Been very frustrating not to be able to contribute, but have thoroughly enjoyed reading - especially contributions from Gigilou who isn't afraid to confront and articulate just how evil and messed up this specimen is - I've read and yelled ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON at your posts on many occasions over the last few months!!
I watched at the court on the Wednesday the week they sat for only Weds/Thurs (prosecution cross-exam). It was fascinating and horrifying. For me, she's a psychopath no question. She has this clipped upwards 'yes' she answers to confirm things like a robot. She seems extremely irritated to even be there, when she gets told to find a page in one of her many huge folders I got the impression that she was seething like she's being put out just being there, but knows she has to keep it together. Once she even rolled her eyes very slightly. None of the court sketches look like her imo - one bears a slight resemblance but I forget witch (see what I did there?).
One thing I disagreed with from others reports is that her parents looked 'broken'. Obviously no-one can tell what anyone is really thinking, but they sat opposite me when waiting to go to court with that weird older colleague of hers (not sure if I can put the name, but you know who I mean). They were looking and chuckling at pictures of family pets, then that freak friend of hers at ended a sentence with the words (NOT in a particularly quiet voice) "Poor Lucy". I moved at that point as I found it disgusting. I think the parents are probably in complete denial reading between the lines.
She, like all the freaks on the Facebook group (which I had a look at and left after three days), and the so called 'expert' on twitter etc are simply folk with empty lives, again - desperately wanting something controversial to believe in, in order to get attention (narcissist tendencies once again). Think they've had far too much attention on these threads tbh, it's giving them what they want. Like the people who immediately vote innocent/scapegoat on a new thread. they're nothing more than sad losers.
As many of us have, I'm not ashamed I've shed tears for the families during the prosecution evidence. Personally I'd like to see her put up in Trafalgar Square, injected with air and food and have a stick shoved down her throat, but NG is all we can hope for. It's good to read today's updates after the utter excrement we were subjected to last week.
Waited months to contribute something - great to be able to get all that off my chest!!
Hope you are okay, it’s horrible when they aren’t gaining and the doctors don’t seem interestedDr at a and e wasn't interested basically he's peeing and seems bright enough and is feeding often so he's fine. Got told its not an emergency and hv is the one to deal with it. I'm going to keep feeding him myself for now and see if I can keep him going will give myself a couple of weeks and if no weight gain I'll supplement feed or just bottle feed
I agree, this must be awful for them. On top of the trauma of having been there when these babies died / collapsed. As has been mentioned previously by others, I really feel for the staff involved. When I was a student nurse, many moons ago, I was involved in a commissioners enquiry about a complaint that a relative had put in relating to care her loved one received on a ward. I had to go and answer questions with two people from the enquiry - no idea who they were - I was only about 19 and it was a year after the complaint - I was absolutely terrified but was actually complimented on my documentation. In the end, the complaint was determined to be unfounded. Then when I was a staff nurse, about a year or so after qualifying, a certain type of drug was having to be stocked up on the ward on a far too regular basis, leading to the suspicion of someone stealing the drug, (in those days it wasn't a controlled drug which needed counting and signing for - it is now). I was one of three staff who had been on the day or night before the drugs went missing so had to be interviewed by management. The girl who was doing it confessed - she was selling them onwards. It was such a horrible and scary time and this didn't even impact patient care. These poor doctors, nurses, nursery nurses, (and even the plumber) ,have had to have every aspect of their work and care scrutinised and put on trial. I just hope that they are getting the support that they need, the senior management at COCH have a lot to answer to after this has concluded!
Can you still get that docmum? I've not seen it for years.dark chocolate bounty though![]()
I think I've just ejaculated.
Yes very true. And that part of town has varying degrees of roughness. She would likely come across as very middle of the road in how she speaks/acts.It’s subjective though rough for Hereford is different to say rough for Manchester. I’m from up north and my southern colleagues have a totally different idea on “rough”
Do you think that once current photos of Lucy get attached to post- verdict news articles that public opinion will sway differently?Hi all.
