I feel bad for laughing at something related to such a horrific case, but Facebook fan club thinking the defence has a load of experts ready that will explain everything and prove she’s innocent 😂😭😭

Can you imagine how it must feel if you're a parent whose baby died at Countess, not mentioned in this investigation, but waiting for that knock on the door in case new evidence comes to light and they realise she did it to others? Awful 💔

See I don’t get ND vibes. I get narcissist through and through
They can’t show sympathy for anyone, because they don’t care
Her crying for herself and only herself, the reminder of stupid things like smoking doctors and sink turds is just the narcissist in her coming to the surface. I remember phoning my old narc friend the morning my dad died absolutely devastated in tears and the way she was is the vibe I get from LL, they can try to be empathic but it feels off, robotic, like they’re reading off a sheet and in a matter of time they switch the conversation or the direction onto something in their life
The texting colleagues constantly about the babies, when the colleagues aren’t even in work is the narc, she wants the indulgence, the attention, the “don’t worry it’s not your fault you’re an amazing nurse”

If she’s what I expect she is, which is a covert narcissist, she won’t be showing authentic empathy to anyone, because they don’t have that ability

Went for my 11am coffee break at work and expected to come back to some decent reading... HOLY MAC AND CHEESE BALLS... The plumber!

Bet BNE is HOWLING that that is their only defence. I actually feel a bit sorry for BM that he's had to lower himself to this level.

Perhaps before LL went as far as killing babies she had already been hurting babies? Even just little pinches or something on the skin to show she had power over them. Then gradually she realized she could take their lives?

He was called but was behind a screen to protect him and his family. LL said on Friday he was married and I recall him saying at some point he would trust Lucy with his own children maybe this is why he doesn’t want to be revealed which I understand, I imagine he would play the relationship down to protect his family too, so don’t think we’ll ever fully know. Tbh it’s irrelevant other than the fact that she’s lied about it and she possibly caused harm to spend time with him - which is sickening
Have you googled his name? Of course you have you nosey cow! 😂

Is he dishy?

The whole thing just leaves me with this grey, flat feeling. I remember feeling similar with James Bulger, in another world two boys went to school and a mother briefly lost her toddler and apart from a horrible moment nothing else noteworthy happened. As it was, unimaginable pain and suffering.

She could have nursed them and they left healthy and happy and grew into children. She could have kept her house and cats and friends and got married and had her own babies. There could be so much happiness here. It’s just all so miserable.

Sigh. Sorry, bit maudlin. Who has her cats, I wonder?
James Bulger being murdered is the reason I am so over protective of my boys. I won't take them anywhere alone if there is more than one exit (like a playground) or there is a chance they will get lost in a crowd. The thought of taking them into a shopping centre on my own gives me chills.

I keep coming back to your second paragraph, these babies could have gone on to have wonderful lives and grow up. She could have carried on her career, married and had children. She could have had a good life.

I feel like for a lot of this I've made it into some TV show in my head, like it isn't real. But Thursday seemed to stop that. Now I just think how could she have actually killed these babies? What kind of person would look at a tiny baby and even consider harming it? She is evil.
I was working last night and accidentally brought my handover sheet home in my pocket this morning. Since I've woken up, it has been on my mind and it's in my work bag ready to go back tonight. No one keeps hundreds of handover sheets by accident. It is making me angry thinking about her and what she did. How dare she ruin so many lives. She was in a position of trust.

I really hope the parents can find some closure when she is sentenced. Their hearts will never heal though.

I’ve said it before but mid twenties was my peak hoe years 💃🏻. I was not penpalling PG messages with some married old floppy cockington, wearing high neck Bon Marche beauties or socialising with Brenda from the office. To be fair, I think they said one of her “isolation, on antidepressants, changed person” nights out on the piss was with her uni mates.
I agree so much about her just doesn’t quite add up. Pretending to be human.

P.S. Vera NoWords. Sorry again xoxo

BNE opens the prosecution with ‘LL why do you only cry for yourself and not the babies’ and BM brings a plumber who reckons his mate might’ve sorted a bit of shite one night 7-8 years ago but he doesn’t know when… ok…
Imagine being the fucking jury 😂 You go from BNE catching her in lies to.... a plumber.

You’ll know then that autism and ND is a spectrum and therefore one persons lived experience is not another’s. There’s no DSM criteria for being anxious to be diagnosed Autistic - and to use the older term of Asperger’s, may actually come across highly knowledgeable and confident in their delivery of themselves. There’s no one size fits all.
Don't talk down to me.

There's if you've met one autistic person, you've met one autistic person, whatever. And then there's expanding it so much that it can apply to anyone.

Lucy lived independently, had a successful career in a job requiring constant social interaction, had a full and rich social life, had sufficient social skills to be a literal serial killer right under everyone's noses, and is visibly remarkably self-assured and unfazed by everything. She would be the most atypical autistic person ever.

She's not autistic anyway because there is zero chance Bowel Movement wouldn't have used that as a sympathy ploy.

For everyone saying it doesn't matter: it does. People with autism who are exceptionally high functioning (the Chris Packhams of the world) already get disproportionate attention and centering, to the point where autistic people with significant problems are now facing a complete lack of understanding from the general public. If Lucy were to be autistic, she would be one of these extreme high functioners. The last thing we need is adding people like her to the label, just for being unnaturally composed on the stand. We are facing enough misunderstanding as it is without lumping us in with clearly non-autistic serial baby killers.

Also I hate how I'm labelled a chatty member. I'm not even chatty ffs. When do I get to be a VIP?
You have to send a photo of your titlets to Tattles CEO and then record and upload a clip of yourself doing the can-can.

Then you get the VIP badge 🤩

Tbf, her defence was a month as LL herself was the main defence! So she has had a completely fair trial and an opportunity to say her "truth".

The medical evidence was always going to be tough to dispute given the number of experts who all agreed on it - so I'm not surprised BM didn't bring any on.

Statistics experts were always going to be useless as this trial wasn't based on it - the association with her was noticed a year before there was even a formal review! And statistics can't explain the insulin or air embolisms - that's the basis of this trial.

The best defence for her was always going to be hearing her explanations and reasoning that maybe no one else had realised. She had none.

The lack of her filling out any DATIX reports or any formal documentation/messages/notes etc to support her theories for the collapses was what ended her - we can see other nurses were making DATIX reports, so why wasn't she (until the end, when it was a fabrication anyway as shown by the senior doctors). No evidence at all that anything or anyone else may have been responsible.

There is no defence for her other than what we have seen, it's that simple.
