Interesting thought from the poster about how it may be the nurses LL is targeting rather than parents/babies. I think at this stage she maybe just enjoyed hurting everyone from the colleagues to the babies to the parents. I just think she’s an evil psychopath and there will be psychologists queued up to try and work out her reasons for doing what she has done. But interestingly I went back and read everything in the wiki for Baby E, and I’d forgotten this was when she was saying it was the luck of the draw and element of fate. There was a colleague that was then concerned about her as she’d noticed what an awful run she’d been having (hence LL saying luck of draw), this was also same colleague she’d just been saying it was too quiet that shift to
. She also bathed the baby and dressed him in-front of mum as mum was so traumatised, she also gave her the memory box which Mum was “surprised” to receive. She also txt colleague about how mum had given her a hug and thanked her for all she’d done. Also when I was rereading and saw the element of fate luck of the draw stuff, it had got me thinking about something, wasn’t B clinically doing a bit better than A, and E was clinically stronger than F, and I’m sure the unharmed triplet was stronger than O&P, would have to check L&M cos i can’t remember, but it does make me wonder was she playing some kind of sick game to see which one survived and which one didn’t as she went for the stronger one first Also I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again cos I’m more convinced now than ever. LL has only taken the stand cos she’s sadistic, she wants to further hurt the families more, and she wants to keep some sense of power over them. If she was truly innocent, then she either wouldn’t have taken the stand at all (cos she didn’t need to look how many thought she was innocent/on the fence until now), or she wouldn’t be throwing everyone under the bus now and continuously lying now. She has only taken the stand for her own narcissistic reasons, she is not up there trying to get off, she’s up there to revel in the pain and perceived power she has by being up there testifying. She’s beyond sick, and how that poor mum of E&F has sat there today listening to that absolute bull tit I don’t know, and the ultimate hurtful bit where she then had the nerve to say she thought she had a good relationship with the mum
imagine how that poor woman felt listening to that after listening to all the other lies from her before that. I’m just so glad she took the stand like those who followed trials knew she would, cos it’s exposing her for the monster she is, just makes me even more mad how much she’s loving this lime light, but at least it will ensure she never sees outside of a prison again---

The problem with the crappy sink 'revelation' is that several news articles are using it as the ultimate clickbait title (when it was just one very small aspect of the cross examination) and the casual observer is probably thinking "Wow, that hospital really is awful, maybe it could be a killer virus etc etc"
Not that it really matters I suppose. As long as the important people (jury) are not fixated on the pooey plughole then the public opinions don't matter at the end of the day.

It’ll likely be a different story if (lol when) she’s found guilty. You’ll still get lots of people criticising the hospital but I think the Poor Lucy narrative will disappear when more details are printed that the casual reader isn’t aware of.

I read this thread every day but rarely comment because I’ve had doubts about her guilt and wanted to hear all the evidence first, like I didn’t WANT to believe she’s guilty because she looks so normal but duck me I think today has made my mind up!! 
I mean under prosecution questions, and I think it is her best day relatively speaking, she agreed there was an attacker and blatantly lied about handover sheets on other days. She did seem to give less “I can’t recall” answers today, just how I saw it anyway… The best of a bad bunch is probably a better description. She didn’t defend her self particularly well she just didn’t drop her self in it, as badly as she has done on previous daysBest day on the stand? Even with the sewage curveball? Well that's very cruel...I mean I'm not overly keen on the pale, freckled beings but that's just a step too far. Gingers have feelings too.
Sooooo… on Friday she was speaking as little as possible and as short of answers as she could, and she crumbled. Today she was she same but she was pissed off, she was arrogant, snappy and verging on rude. She’s so self assured, almost cocky. She has a lovely accent but today she was fighting. IMO she was pissed about Friday and came back fighting. She blinks unbelievably fast when answering anything too I noticed it on Friday but it seemed even MORE today! She seemed irritated every single time she had to turn to a page, or open another file (which btw are hugeeeeeee some arch lever a4, and another one is shorter but the widest file I’ve ever seen. IMO she showed her true colours today, it’s all got to her and she was not happy about it. The prosecution as always was calm, polite and lovely with her but still made his points. I was surprised they didn’t bring up baby Es mum saying she heard the scream, and that it’s directly the mums word vs LL. It was a long day and at times hard to follow, I’m going to read the live feeds from today to digest it all and I’ll be back

I wondered if she would start to come across as more snappy as the questions went on because BNE is firing her inconsistencies back at her at such a rapid rate that she barely has time to register that she's been caught out in a lie again before he comes back with something else.
