If your post labour toast is cold and rock solid you need to be moving hospitals my love. Up here in sunny Scotland we have the finest, cheapest white bread which is roasting hot drenched in real butter 🧈 oh it’s lovely 🥰
I am in what was not so sunny central Scotland today and it was cheap nasty white bread was amazing lol

Today just before 2 I gave birth to my gorgeous baby and gave him an extra cuddle for all the babies that are involved in this horrible case. Makes me so mad that Lucy has taken their lives away so cruelly. She is needing someone to do to her what she done to them. Yes that may make me sound deranged but that's how I feel

Sooooo… on Friday she was speaking as little as possible and as short of answers as she could, and she crumbled. Today she was she same but she was pissed off, she was arrogant, snappy and verging on rude. She’s so self assured, almost cocky. She has a lovely accent but today she was fighting. IMO she was pissed about Friday and came back fighting. She blinks unbelievably fast when answering anything too I noticed it on Friday but it seemed even MORE today! She seemed irritated every single time she had to turn to a page, or open another file (which btw are hugeeeeeee some arch lever a4, and another one is shorter but the widest file I’ve ever seen. IMO she showed her true colours today, it’s all got to her and she was not happy about it. The prosecution as always was calm, polite and lovely with her but still made his points. I was surprised they didn’t bring up baby Es mum saying she heard the scream, and that it’s directly the mums word vs LL. It was a long day and at times hard to follow, I’m going to read the live feeds from today to digest it all and I’ll be back 🙂

I’m going NG. She’s convinced me that actually she’s 100% innocent of all charges, she’s a super nurse. It’s just literally every other doctor, nurse and consultant that are murderers. Such bad luck for her to be in that ward full of them. Her defence has completely changed my mind. #FreeForgetby #SwastikaGardens

By the way, in case it isn't obvious, I'm well and truly off the "not committing to a side until I've heard all evidence" fence and have purchased a season ticket in the guilty camp 😂

Mr Johnson says Letby was looking for the family's reaction. Letby disagrees.

One of the searches is on Christmas Day. "Didn't you have better things to do?"

You know you’ve fucked up when your defence convinces even more people of your guilt than the prosecution did 🤭

Can only imagine the sort of post it notes she’s been scribbling this weekend in her cell.

‘I can’t recall. Tiny Boy IS a dog. BASTARDS IN WIGS. Help me Craig David.’

Our cat has recently had kittens and my kids were driving me crackers beforehand (when can we hold them?can they live in my room? etc.) but now that they’ve actually arrived it’s really interesting because they are all so bowled over at how tiny and vulnerable they are they have all completely accepted that we can’t handle them for at least 2 weeks. They haven’t once asked since the birth. Despite being typical boisterous boys, they just spend ages just quietly sat next to the pen, observing, and commenting on what the kittens are doing. It’s so lovely to watch their nurturing side, but I have found myself thinking how devastating it must be as a parent to even consider that your child could intentionally harm a vulnerable living being (I mean anyone really, but the defenceless nature of killing newborns can have no logical motivation can it?).

Kittens are cute. So are newborns. The thought of anyone wanting to harm them makes me wanna puke.

In one hospital there is now
1) a murderer
2) a scapegoat
3) conspiring doctors
4) a mystery virus
5) incompetent staff
6) piss and shit running all over

And the only one who isn’t involved in any of this….is the one on trial for murder
Ok

ETA: 7) handover sheets that mysteriously take themselves home

How anyone can still think this bitch is anything but guilty is beyond me. This baby has 100% sealed it for me.

She's even more screwed now, because there's nothing about blood in his nappy in the nursing notes she wrote.

So far for Baby E:
  • Lied about the timeline, because in the Mum's timeline she's witnessed her attacking her son
  • Lied about the cause of death, blaming raw sewage when infection was never proposed by the defense
  • Lied about the aspirates
  • Lied about the presence of blood on his face
  • Lied about the rash
  • Lied in the defence statement
  • Lied about her notes on the stand

Hello everyone, first time posting in the thread but I've been following since LL was arrested. I have always been in the guilty camp but, my god, if I'd had any doubts today would have definitely removed them

I cannot begin to imagine what these poor parents are going through. My children are all grown up now (aged 27 to 43), my youngest was just over 6lb and tiny compared to the others, how anyone can hurt something so small and defenceless is totally beyond me.

I'd also like to say how much I enjoy the funny posts, a very welcome relief to the others.

Why didn’t I listen to the advice on here to stay away from the facebook groups?! They were discussing her late night, non rota appearances and it was all “poor lonely Lucy, what dedication, it’s totally fine to complete your paperwork on days off…” 😡
NOT lonely- lurking, obsessive, sinister.
NOT dedicated- has no boundaries. Hospital wards are for patients, not staff. It’s not for you to come and go as you please, you come and go as you are rostered.
NOT fine, it’s totally unprofessional to leave without completing your notes. These should be done contemporaneously and noted as such if they are not. As per NMC. I have had absolute stinker shifts and still stayed to complete my notes, at the cost of getting abusive voicemails about being late from nasty ex, missing my kids bed times, having to get the late bus, getting the stink eye from sister about time management. It’s not an office job, you don’t leave until you’re finished. If you haven’t documented your cares then in the eyes of the law you haven’t done them.
Sorry, rant over. I’m sticking with tattle.

She's caught in a lie almost immediately. She's datixed the death (standard practice for an unexpected death) but she's not included anything about raw sewage on the floor, which you definitely would if you were concerned?
