I find her house really creepy.

She was a young girl yet it looks like a middle aged woman who asks regularly to speak to the manager and enjoys eating at a Harvester lives there.

Couldn't remember much about them in the police interviews though could she
And she will have been asked that around, what, twenty odd separate times right. She had around 30 interviews 2018-20 didn’t she. Couldn’t remember in any. Now has remembered for the trial after hearing all the damming evidence against her.

The Roy Cropper of the nursing world
She seriously does seem like a young female Roy Cropper, if Roy Cropper was a live laugh love hun and a baby murdering serial killer 🤣
I had to laugh when I read she said she doesn’t normally swear, so you won’t swear but you’ll murder babies?!?! Honestly just typical of the ‘I hate swearing’ brigade who act like you’re a horrible person for saying the f word but are usually holes themselves.

I agree she doesn’t come off bad in her answers in court, even makes the fb searching sound a bit weird but not sinister BUT remember she’s had years to think up these answers and they’re totally different to what she said in interviews. If it’s so normal for her to look up people on Facebook why didn’t she just say that in her police interviews?

And how do you forget that you’ve got a shredder? And why the duck would you just casually keep hundreds of them. I had it drilled into me in uni that if one of my handovers was found off the ward I could lose my job. I only once accidentally took one home and was so terrified I kept an eye on it the whole way home and shredded it the minute I got in, and even then I was worried that someone would dig through my recycling and put it back together again 🤣

Additionally remember she noted the babies names in her diary, with reference to them collapsing/dying on those dates.
Exactly this. Show me another nurse who writes the initials of dead patients in a personal diary, the dates they met them and the dates they died.

I'm wondering if the 'other mother of child from LWH' was the mother of the baby death she had there 🤢
Oh god yes. Hence the job advert for further detectives for Op Hummingbird no doubt. Multiple fine tooth combs needed to look at everywhere this witch had walked.

Honestly did 🤣 realised I hadn’t gotten rid of it, got it out of my pocket and put it on the passenger seat and kept checking it hadn’t disappeared. In my defence, one of friends got into massive trouble at the same hospital because a handover she’d printed off (so not her actual handover that she’d used) was found in a street about a mile away from the hospital 🤷‍♀️ she got disciplined and nearly lost her job. They take confidentiality VERY seriously in the NHS. My point is, you wouldn’t just collect hundreds of handovers in your house, you’d at the very least take them back to the hospital, if not burn or shred it. She’d have known she’d be straight off to NMC court if they were found.

Jesus! Who found it in the street and who grassed?🤣I am actually shocked how many nurses with a public account admit that they have hand overs and say it’s normal she had that many🤣🤣theres no excuse to just say I am messy and unorganised if she had a shredder and moved them to different bags like just dispose of them?! Also when she said she has a hard time getting rid of stuff I took that as an attachment thing. Why would you be attached to random hand overs🤷🏼‍♀️

It imo is not bloody normal to have hundreds of handovers.
The odd one accidentally , yep I get that.
Hundreds, nope , that is not accidental.

Sorry still catching up but it’s easy to “forget” you had a shredder when it’s the only thing you have in a room 🤔 seems funny she still remembered to use the shredder for bank statements tho 🙄

When my twins were in NICU in 2015 the pH level of the aspirate was checked every time they used the NG tube.
Super behind, but when my son was in NICU on October/November last year and being tube fed, they checked the aspirate every time and used the gravity method.

A Mom who I got to chat to daily was taught how to do it herself and did it when she was there. I was never offered as I couldn't be there as much due to having older children at home and I would have been too frightened. Plus, he was bottle feeding the last 2 days.

I am super behind and trying to catch up.

I have to say, I gasped out loud today when the news appeared on my phone that she was taking the stand. I was adamant she wasn't going too. I immediately went to this thread and have read bits throughout the day when my kids have allowed (not very often, how dare they!).

I also couldn't believe it was headline news today as well on the 6 o'clock news.

I did read the live Chester Standard and that's all I could manage time wise, so am somewhat up to date with their recordings of the day.

I just feel like it's all so contradictory and really hard to follow from the defence so far. It doesn't feel like they have made any dents in my opinion of her being guilty and so far, her testimony (is that right) doesn't strike me as someone who is innocent, just someone doing damage control.

I hope the jury see through this though. I'm scared that those people who buy into the 'she looks normal/pretty/delicate etc..., she can't have done this' will completely buy the woe is me act, but for me, it doesn't sit right at all. It doesn't feel genuine. But maybe that is my bias.

Out of interest, what happens to her if she is found innocent? It’s too late for her to get a new identity (her face has been plastered all over the news), I doubt she’d be able to emigrate as she probably has no funds (would she even be accepted as an immigrant!?) and even if found innocent, there are a hell of a lot of people who think she is guilty and, rightly or wrongly, would want to see her come to a lot of harm! Just curious as to what happens in these scenarios.
I think she'd expect to return to her old job, or at least go back into nursing. She's that deluded. Even if she's not a baby killer, she's still a really rit nurse so I hope there'd be a way to prevent this.

Operation Hummingbird is still ongoing, so I suspect the most likely outcome would be her immediate arrest on a new set of charges.
