Hiya! Fellow forensic psychology grad here and I am still batting for covert narcissism! If you go through the previous posts you’ll see some of my other general justifications. Here are some of the traits I don’t think I’ve mentioned with my justification.
An over-inflated sense of self-importance. (Cockiness about the investigation ‘they are going to look silly’/thinking she won’t get caught)
Lack of empathy. (Hanging over the parents making inappropriate comments about their dead or dying babies

)
A need for excessive admiration. (Fishing for compliments from dr NN and others, being the face of the countess Chester fundraising)
Sense of entitlement. (Thinks she should be with the sickest and most poorly babies, disobeys senior staff)
Surrounding yourself with superficial relationships. (All the texting on shift with Dr NN and others- stretch but I think it fits)
Taking advantage of others for personal gain. (Hurting the babies to get closer to Dr NN, to look like a hero or a selfless hero type)
Resistance to change. (Moving nurseries, being shifted off to the admin duties and moaning about it as if it was a personal attack)
Hyperfixation on delusions of grandeur/superiority (constant messaging about what went wrong with the babies, theorising as if she is the one with all the answers rather than the drs or being upset)
---
Quoting myself like a weirdo but more traits and justifications:
Superficial charm. (Nice Lucy…)
Attention-seeking. (Constant messaging, poor me attitude regarding the death of the babies ‘I want to be back in Ibiza’, telling dr NN about her thyroid issues and her parents being too protective etc. )
Lack of reliability. (Messaging on her supposedly busy shifts?)
Manipulation. (Clearly Dr NN and everyone else she’s bombarding with work messages)
The propensity to break peoples' boundaries. (Hanging around the parents until they have to shout at her or tell her to leave).
