Even the limited information provided by Dan makes difficult reading.

Baby N was really put through the mill.

My friends son has haemophilia and its a really difficult disorder even with the best will in the world, he's always covered in bruises and they're always at the hospital if he's had even a tiny bump it can cause a serious bleed. He's a strapping 8 year old now, cannot imagine how vulnerable a little baby would be.

I read but don't often comment. I just wish, for the sake of those poor parents and their babies that this would be over soon.

Me too, but I don’t think it’s due to end till May sometime.
be interesting to see what the defence says happened to all these poor Babies.

I'm on holiday (with my mum 👀) for 2 weeks end of May/beginning of June with no Internet access (unless I pay £20 a day) on some days. If that verdict comes in on one of those days, after following the trial so closely, I'm going to be gutted.

Might be late to the party with this but it made interesting reading. Seems the defence was a very similar one; coincidence/bad luck, scapegoat for hospital failings etc etc.

ETA... Looks like there was a documentary released about it in the states a couple of weeks ago See no Evil: Angel of Death. Not sure if it's over here but anyone with IPTV might be able to find it. I'll have a look later.

You off to Ibiza ?
That case in Texas is very similar, he’s been given death penalty !
and this quote 'It turns out a hospital is the perfect place for a serial killer,' Smith County district attorney Jacob Putman said during the trial…..
wonder how many more that just don’t get caught !

Yes, same guy I shared a while back and @Haveyouanywool shared that there is a doc about him on discovery at the mo (although I couldn’t find it 😕)
Lots of similarities for me! Especially the never before seen type comments, the strange and unexpected events happening just to this guy just after he’s been there, physical evidence of unusual air in the victims. He will probably have offended more, don’t think he was even found guilty of all his charges which must be horrible for the families but he’s got the death penalty 😬

Getting through all of baby E on the wiki, so much detail. Yikes it was so awful. This was obviously after quite a flurry in her alleged offending so lots of “terrible run” type comments in text. Wonder if they will be back after NOPQ as all very close again or people will view the chance of this being awful natural events and bad luck differently.

It’s also part of the Murder on CCTV series on Discovery (series 8 Ep 29).

I’ve been going through the wiki and have just finished reading about Baby F. Has she been put in the stand yet? I haven’t seen it mentioned yet but appreciate I am very behind so please don’t tell me off 🙏🏼😅

He just looks completely bonkers and desperate at this point for me 😅
To say I'm looking forward to the turn of the defence would be quite sick considering the case but I am really intrigued to what he comes out with. Its going to be interesting.

Poor Huw always gets it 🙈🙈

Sounds tense in court, Ben is on one today!

How is Ben Myers going to explain all the other professionals coming to similar findings to Dewi? All of whom, apart from Sandie Bohin, reported independently to Dewi I believe.

I suppose Ben has to question these things but it just comes across as weak, if this is his defence.

Not yet but if she does take the stand (possible she might not) then she will be the first witness for the defence on the stand.

We are coming to the end of Baby N. So I think all babies may be complete in the next 2-3 weeks. I assume prosecution will then go into other evidence like the post it notes etc afterwards. It’s possible prosecution could be done by Easter though and after easter defence start

It’s strange how just putting this slant on it does make the information come across slightly different? Just thinking of how the jury hear it, so initially he says he was approached but then they produce evidence of him asking to work the case? Probably all very normal but it’s just crazy how just by saying that already has me questioning the guys findings 🤷🏼‍♀️ logically I know that it’s very likely he wanted to work the case if it’s of interest to his own work and I’m sure very helpful to the case etc, but by being ‘accused’ of touting for work I then question it slightly? I’m just typing as I think here it’s just interesting how the defence work I guess.

This is what I mean about statements changing and innocent mistakes being made. How many more are there going to be? The sole reason I'm still 'unsure'.

It's really difficult with the way Dan reports but yes, Ben will make the jury question the experts. That's his job and he's very good at it. The big snake 🤣
I can imagine he's a dirty fighter!

How do we know that he wasn’t approached initially and his response was “sounds like my kind of work” it’s hard to tell from these write ups

edited to add - I know how it’s been written makes it sound as though he’s directly touted for the work but the defence could also be using things out of context. They also might not be as well. Obviously then jury will hopefully be getting the bigger picture and all the info

He's absolutely desperate if all he can bring up is the way Dr Evans got the job. The thing is both could be right.

He could've emailed and showed interest
He could've been offered it.

Ben is just trying to muddy the waters and bring doubt on the Doctors integrity.

Luckily there's many experts across the case so the jury will have a plethora of information and also they will see/hear it in person so they get the feel of a person better.

The experts would be paid for their work whatever their findings so why would he not just do a thorough job and present the correct results which happened to match the results of other expert witnesses. Surely all the expert witnesses didn't have a vendetta against LL.

I thought this too.

Also (I know nothing about this) would he not be paid for compiling the initial report regardless of his findings? Granted there would probably be further payment for taking the stand for the prosecution. But if that is the case, if his findings suited the defence he could have just as easily stood for them instead and still got his pay cheque 🤷‍♀️. BM does do a good job of making me question everything though!
