I do believe people can be born evil- I obviously don't believe that babies are evil, just that the potential will have always been there. There are many reasons how traumas and experiences alter us. It's not a one fits all scenario. I know people in my line of work who have suffered horrendous trauma who you'd excuse for bad behaviours, but they are really really good decent people. Also have came across people with wonderful childhoods and adult experiences who are what I would deem as bad. Satan did masquerade himself as an angel of light.

The potential is there for each and every one of us. Some more susceptible than others.

I have no understanding of Jury duty so please forgive me but do they get chance to talk about the case between themselves and get each others POV on certain pieces of evidence for example? Or is it like you sit and listen the whole time take it all in and purely make your decision on your own?

I get that- and sometimes interesting discussions and views being shared comes out of it and I take some of what you said on board. Some of this feeds in to how Lucy might be portrayed too.

But it’s wrong to suggest that women are as bad as men when it comes to murders. That is plainly untrue. 3 women a week are killed by partners and ex partners. A horrifying statistic that is getting worse. My friend was murdered by her boyfriend when we were 16, and I’m sure a lot of us can offer a story of someone we know who’s been killed this way. So it’s wrong to suggest it’s an equal problem. It’s not. There are lot of good resources online that will educate you on the systemic problem of male violence against women and girls.

I understand that but an awful lot isn’t said about abuse towards men and I’m true in what I’m saying . Domestic abuse happens both ways in fact men don’t speak out about it as Much . I didn’t explain myself as well as i should hence why I deleted it . But I still stand by what I say when a woman kills it’s hardly spoke about in fact it’s hardly even put in the papers .

And you just proved that with everything you just said not once in that statement did you mention about looking at domestic violence against men . And I’m sure many can offer you story about men that have been abused by a partner . It happens to MEN aswell !!!

And if we use your logic, we can see what LL gained - a lot of attention, more interesting cases than the boring ones she complained about and being able to show her parents how important her job was.

Which for me isn’t enough of a motive, unless there is a disorder of the mind.

If they did have a staffing issue then I would have thought room 1 would still be fully staffed and room 3 and 4 may be the rooms where they may compromise?

I think more nursery nurses (who have less training than registered nurses) mainly staffed room 4, maybe room 3 at times too.
So, obviously, staff would be from a different pool.

Will defence witnesses get the same treatment from people here when questioned by the prosecution I wonder

I know there is a moratorium on reporting prior history so as to ensure fair process and trial. I'm pretty confident if found guilty we will probably be furnished with details of history, behaviours and incidents that gave cause for concern, both personally and possibly professionally. Then it will all become clear. We only have certain pieces of a very complex puzzle at the minute

They weren’t difficult to find though. But I know it isn’t really fair on them though so I suppose i shouldn’t encourage everyone

She seems more sociable and less of an introvert than I imagined, and seems like she was a well-liked member of the team. On the photos where they seem to be on work drinks it’s mainly her with older women, it made me wonder, is she someone that is quite jealous or doesn’t get on well with young women around her own age? Just speculating,just want to get a feel for who she really is

I haven't seen any witnesses named apart from the two nurses... hmm.. off to check!

There’s actually no guidance on it, it’s just ‘beyond reasonable doubt’ whatever the fuck that means lol. BUT in a criminal court the burden of proof is very high, you are literally potentially depriving someone of their liberty by sending them to prison if found guilty, you’re literally taking away a human right. And in this case in particular, you are deciding on whether to send a young woman to prison for the rest of her life or not (depending on if she’s successful in an appeal or not), so I’m pretty sure usually the judge reminds the jury that they can only vote guilty if they are absolutely sure.

I’d imagine that’s it from the prosecution but the defence will present their witnesses and evidence on these babies when it is their turn

I have just voted on whether or not I think LL is guilty, not guilty or unsure and obviously I chose guilty but there was quite a high percentage of people that thought she wasn’t guilty and I’m in disbelief, declare yourself people?!
