Away at the moment so just catching up on the days events and having a good read through. I just feel so sad and heartbroken for those poor families who now know they lost their precious babies to that evil cow. I'm so glad the verdict came in for them and they can now begin to process what has happened. I really hope the trust come clean and admit their failings but I bet they will continue to cover up as much as they can. I'm so so glad she got guilty on so many, no chance of her getting out of jail in this lifetime. I don't know how I feel myself just mainly so sad for those tiny babies whose chance at life was whipped away and who should still be here, and their families. It's heartbreaking. I really hope she gets roughed up in jail I really do.

If anyone is convicted of a serious offence like offenders lose their children they should lose their pets to the likes of the RSPCA. Those poor babies were taken from their mums and dads. They would be 7 and 8 years old now RIP. Those cats and comforter are her “babies.” She should not even have them or family have them.
There’s something way more going on to this (her background). I saw somewhere she was adopted? She did not have an idyllic childhood if she turned to a full blown psychopathic killer of babies as an adult. Will there be a psychiatric assessment prior to sentencing. Because I am just baffled that someone is capable of doing this to babies and carry on and on. It’s sick.

I genuinely think I’m an hole because it wouldn’t matter to me how much I knew someone, there’s no smoke without fire and the evidence in this case against her is astronomical
Thank you for this info. I hope that settlement comes fast for the families.Sorry just replying to myself like a loser because I have had some more thoughts(not an expert by any means but I am a Court Clerk in the County Court so I have picked up a little bit of knowledge over the years)
Although I’m sure there will be a civil case, the odds of it going to trial are slim. The claim would likely be against COCH NHS Foundation Trust rather than the individuals, and as LL has been found guilty I suspect they would more than likely come to a settlement out of Court as most cases involving NHS medical negligence do

I was going to switch off but can’t. Found this that said her parents didn’t even attend today either seen as she was t going to so clearly planned that she wouldn’t attend from her cells. And her mother could be heard from outside the court room wailing on the first few verdicts

Della I agree it wasn’t what I hoped for, but I’m guessing because it was all pre-recorded in the pipeline they couldn’t get interviews pertaining to the top knobs, but I reckon it will all come out and very soon too, there will be loads of people wanting to share their experiences and stories, hopefullyMy unpopular opinion.
I don't really know how to word it but I finished panorama feeling a bit disappointed. Its like it didn't know what it wanted to be?
I wanted them to name and shame each manager that allowed this to happen, to speak factually about the cover up and to highlight the attendance and interference by Letbys father. I wanted them to be knocking on the doors of the mats who disregarded Dr Breary and his couragous colleagues and ask them for a statement. Hold them accountable publicly.
I didn't want to see that stupid twit of a friend and I didn’t really care for the thoughts and feelings of the journalists at this point.
It felt hashed together so that they could get it on TV for verdict day, it felt insincere.
As our friend F1grid has pointed out this is a travesty of monumental proportions and redacted emails ain't cutting it with me. I want bleeping balls on the table and I want change. Now.

I’m new here but I think her parents and her will all kill themselves. Seem very strange as a unit. There’s more to this that will come out I think.
just seen the timestamps on the videos, she's arrested at 6.15 and they're interviewing her at 6.52. Impressive how fast the police work, I know it took time to get to court but i really think the police were trying their best to nail her and gather as much evidence as possible

Don’t think any of them have the balls to do that considering they attended court everyday for her. I think they’re delusional and she’ll appeal it.
I think it’ll all end up at the high court
All the murder charges were found guilty, and a couple of the attempted ones were found not guilty, but many guilty. Some attempts were on the same baby. I have honestly lost track. Some attempted charges the jury just gave up basically, no verdict. I need to go through and remind myself which were deemed “not enough”. I would have said guilty to all!

Karen Rees/Moore was head of nursing for urgent care, the exec who dismissed Dr B’s concerns on the phone and said Letby wasn’t to be removed from shift and she would take responsibility for anything that happened. LL went straight on to attack a baby on that same shift

this has taken over my life for the last 10 months, it's brought me back to when my baby was in nicu and the terrified feelings I had, but I got to bring my baby home whatever else comes from this, I hope the parents find some bit of peace knowing she will never be free, my heart breaks for them, their babies, and the children who survived her but suffer the horrific consequences of what she did, I've never felt so invested in a trial like this, but this little community was amazing, I didn't comment much but I feel like I know everyone of you I'm having a drink or 10 tonight to help overcome all the emotions I've felt all day, cheers to all of you, justice was served

Found not guilty of two counts of attempted murder, and the jury could not reach verdicts on six other charges.
The nhs hierarchy are all the same. They all cover for staff who should never have nursed in the first place, we’ve whistleblown to cmo’s and chief execs and not even had a follow up.
