I have no interest in being tone police. Have followed the threads for months. Just thought it could be a bit more dignified rather than laughing emojis and dissing LL’s hair etc.
I’ve appreciated all the intelligent inputs and additions to these threads. Being told to fuck off because I questioned some reactions to the verdict just undermines how brilliant these threads have been.
I've just looked at every post you've made in this thread none. I looked at how many posts you've liked. None.

You are rather active on the Jack Monroe thread so it does seem that you know how tattle works.

You chose today, of all days to grace us with your presence. A time you knew when we'd all be vulnerable and upset. Nobody here is thrilled. Far from it.

Me personally, I've spent the day in tears, my head is pounding from raised blood pressure/anxiety and I've cancelled my plans for this evening. The verdict that I desperately wanted has floored me. Fucking floored me. If I come on here and one of my buddies has posted something amusing then I'm going to jump on that....its called light relief. We all need that.

So I stick by my earlier statement. I do want you to fuck off. You have no right trying to make me or anyone else feel guilty for our camaraderie.

She's a fucking coward to her core. From choosing the most vulnerable victims who couldn't fight back, to not even having the balls to face her verdicts or sentencing. Fucking evil coward. She should be forced to be there.

From Guardian: https://www.archive.is/oldest/https...d-average-nurse-who-turned-into-a-baby-killer

"Her parents, who still work for the family’s radiator business, occasionally reproached journalists in court for what they felt was unfair coverage.

Letby seemed particularly close to her father. Documents seen by the Guardian show he forcefully defended her when executives at the Countess of Chester hospital removed her from the neonatal unit in July 2016, after the death of two triplet boys.

John Letby was convinced of his daughter’s innocence and received the backing of Tony Chambers, the hospital’s chief executive, who decided that Letby should be allowed to return to the unit in January 2017. When paediatric consultants angrily complained about his decision, Letby’s father threatened to refer them to the General Medical Council. They were forced to write her a letter of apology but maintained that she should not be allowed to return to the unit."

WTAF have I just read? They let someone's DAD interfere in a performance review - what mickey mouse workplace is this?? Can you imagine your boss not being able to discipline you because your DAD threatened him. Wonder what the scapegoat crew have to say about this - who exactly was scapegoating her again..?

Now we know why she was so arrogant and thought she'd get away with it. If her dad did this at her work, what must they have done during school? I have no sympathy for her parents now, arrogant arseholes thinking they can blackmail doctors disciplining their daughter. No wonder she felt so betrayed by Dr NN - she probably thought he'd be like her dad, saving her and can't comprehend anyone actually holding her to account.

The mail have an article about the podcast and they have a link in it to a documentary they have done - I can’t face watching it yet but just fyi. I probably will watch panorama once little one is asleep.

I think that over the weekend I will create an off topic group for general support as we have discussed before. Thinking I’d call it ‘the wrong fellas’? Any reasons not to please let me know your thoughts, we can discuss things like charitable contributions and just general weariness at todays news over there perhaps.

I feel horrible and I know I need to log off. I just want to say that today had been so much worse than I ever considered, and I can’t begin to understand how those families are feeling, nor those heroes in the police/legal side of it. I can imagine they have done what I’m about to do and crawl under a duvet in a quiet room. To the thread members who do genuinely care about the case, I am sending so much love to you all

The amount of smiling faces and laughing emojis on this thread is making me feel sick
At the very worst points in life the natural instinct of most is to try and seek solice in happiness and laughter.

Have you ever been to a wake?

Do you think we've followed this case and made all threads because we don't give a fuck? Do you think we haven't cried?

If that offends you then please, please, please fuck off.

Thanks 😘

My unpopular opinion.

I don't really know how to word it but I finished panorama feeling a bit disappointed. Its like it didn't know what it wanted to be?

I wanted them to name and shame each manager that allowed this to happen, to speak factually about the cover up and to highlight the attendance and interference by Letbys father. I wanted them to be knocking on the doors of the twats who disregarded Dr Breary and his couragous colleagues and ask them for a statement. Hold them accountable publicly.

I didn't want to see that stupid twat of a friend and I didn’t really care for the thoughts and feelings of the journalists at this point.

It felt hashed together so that they could get it on TV for verdict day, it felt insincere.

As our friend F1grid has pointed out this is a travesty of monumental proportions and redacted emails ain't cutting it with me. I want fucking balls on the table and I want change. Now.

Hope I've not upset anyone. That's not my intention.

I hope Dr Breary is blessed with everything wonderful that life has to offer. His kindness, sincerity and indeed his heartbreak shone through ❤

Anyone know what the defense might say in mitigation for sentencing? Like there's a lot of aggravating factors (lots of victims, the fact that they were children, she pleaded not guilty, abuse of a position of power and trust) but I don't know what might be given in mitigation.
Um muffin I’m over this now! I’ve refrained from replying to your previous post’s because well I couldn’t be bothered and it wasn’t worth it. But today is not the day. Take your letby loving self and fuck off!!!! There is absolutely nothing that can mitigate what that monster has done, I hate to break it to you but she is getting a WHOLE LIFE ORDER. Torture wouldn’t even be enough!!!

Just chatting to my mum, she finally knows more about the case now since reading the verdict (I guess many will), she didn't really follow it before although I had mentioned it. She casually comes out with

"Oh yeah Dr Javi is a good friend of mine I worked with him for years, he's a lovely lovely guy"

Like mother FUCK ME, this whole time me ma's been sat knowing the doctor who has really started all this off to bring justice to those families and been on pub crawls and shit with the dude and never thought to mention it. I know it makes no difference to anything ofcourse I just can't believe what a small world it is man.

Jesus wept 😂

Hi all, it's superfluous to set up a go fund me and give a for profit private company 2.9% + 25p of all donations.

Much better to talk about charities and people can give directly. (y)

Plus isn't a good idea for tattlers safety.

They upheld her grievance?

I’m furious. Absolutely fucking furious. Why am I more angry with the hospital right now than her?

There was an opportunity to stop her time and time again and they did NOTHING.

Someone asked a question and I answered. If anyone else had wrote that post, you would not have cared. This is turning into bullying at this stage.
im truly sorry you feel you are bullied. Perhaps you want to consider that you are posting inflammatory and disrespectful comments in a thread of people who are here for a reason. They have united over the period of the trial of what has turned out to be proven in court as the most prolific child serial killer in modern UK history. Many people here have had premature babies and therefore lived the harrowing days of NICU, many have lost babies, many have babies who are now the age the victims of this killer would be, many have links to the case that you have absolutely no idea about because disclosing that would risk revealing their identity. All of the people that regularly comment here have an emotional connection to this case, have shared their reasons why, and today is the most sensitive time in the case for us all. Do you think we want her to be guilty?! Do you realise knowing her guilt and wanting her guilt are entirely different entities? I would love to know that these babies hadn’t suffered at the hands of a serial killer, that their deaths were somehow otherwise explained.

You have not been bullied, your comments have all been at times of high importance in this thread to draw attention to yourself, in other words you are trolling the thread. And when it comes to trolling a thread wanting justice in a case like this, in the timing you have chosen today, it shows exactly who you are and what disrespect you have for all who are absolutely broken by this trial - and especially this verdict. You are not the victim, those precious babies and their families are, and you need to accept that or move to a forum that will ‘echo’ your insensitive and ill-timed remarks.

It is time for statutory regulation of non-clinical NHS managers IMO.

Someone like Tony Chambers, who has overseen the cover up of the most prolific female serial killer in British history, should not be free to resign and piss off to another 6 figure job within the NHS. Yet they can, because there is no statutory regulation with a body who records shit like this. A doctor or nurse or paramedic or radiographer or anything clinical would be struck off and never able to work in an NHS role ever again for the same.

Yet Tony's just had a jolly little stint at QVH as interim CEO. While the murderer he covered up for was on trial.

Non-clinical staff need the exact same responsibility for their actions that us clinical staff carry.
