Oh Dr Breary broke me. The horrible thing is that Karen Rees et al will probably still be getting a good sleep tonight, but I bet he doesn't. I bet this weighs on him, despite how clear his conscience should be. What a good decent man he is.

KR, those poor consultants, imagine the smugness of her getting an apology from them. I just find it so hard to get my head around all the extra details that have come out today. She destroyed life’s and caused mayhem all around her and revelled in getting the upper hand. 
I think she will commit suicide . I think she wanted the trial now it’s over and she knows she will never get out I really believe she will kill herself
100% very good question and does open the door to wondering about organisations like the freemasons etc
Also what gets me is that you can make a formal complaint on legal grounds to the NHS and they laugh in your face, don't even bother replying, and *defy* you to go get yourself a lawyer and then come back at them. But their nurse who was murdering tiny premie babies, oh right, meeting with the father, multiple correspondences and an apology!??? WTF?
Is there grounds for a criminal case against them the ones who covered it all up ? Or would it be civil court ? I hope it’s criminal

I’m REALLY glad they’ve done this show - I reckon they knew it was highly likely she’d get found guilty, however I reckon they’d have released this anyway about the cover up from the higher ups.

I dont think they’ll use mental illness or anything of the sort to mitigate her, that’s her admitting guilt and she’ll never do that. My personal opinion (feel free to disagree ily all) is they’ll start with the lack of previous convictions, previous good character, the age of her parents also any health issues she has plus the fact she’s “maintained her innocence throughout”

I don't really know how to word it but I finished panorama feeling a bit disappointed. Its like it didn't know what it wanted to be?
I wanted them to name and shame each manager that allowed this to happen, to speak factually about the cover up and to highlight the attendance and interference by Letbys father. I wanted them to be knocking on the doors of the mats who disregarded Dr Breary and his couragous colleagues and ask them for a statement. Hold them accountable publicly.
I didn't want to see that stupid twit of a friend and I didn’t really care for the thoughts and feelings of the journalists at this point.
It felt hashed together so that they could get it on TV for verdict day, it felt insincere.
As our friend F1grid has pointed out this is a travesty of monumental proportions and redacted emails ain't cutting it with me. I want bleeping balls on the table and I want change. Now.
Hope I've not upset anyone. That's not my intention.

Will she be on suicide watch? I’d assume she should be but then again should doesn’t equal is.
No I think everything that happened on the day I went came out within a day or two.
The day I was there was when she got ‘distracted’ and after the next break, before the jury came back in, Ben Myers spoke to the judge and said she was told she was distracted by noise in the public gallery. It was suggested a parent had said something that had distracted Lucy.
to be fair to Ben he said he didn’t hear it and he was sensitive to the parents and judge Goss said he didn’t hear it either as he said he would have said something if he did.
but I got the impression Lucy complained to her team during the break and Ben ha no choice but to bring it up with the judge. I felt it was performative and controlling of Lucy and trying to get at the parents. Especially as judge and Ben never heard anything.
the only other really noticeable thing that wasn’t reported was Ben questioning her on why seeing another baby in room 1 would help get the image of baby a out of her head. There was an extremely long uncomfortable silence, Ben had to repeat the question (again to be fair to him he did push her a bit for an answer) but she literally couldn’t answer it.
I don’t think so. I don’t think she has the balls to harm herself. She’s a gutless wonder. I’d say there is a far likely chance of her getting shivved.
I mean, yes she did… but I don’t think we’re any closer to knowing if it was “just a coincidence”/close to work etc or intentional

LBC did a phone in after the verdict, running theme was the lack of accountability taking by managers in the NHS when staff raise concerns ..
so my own personal experience , I raised some red flags on a clinician, who falsified qualifications and experience, provided false documentation and clearly was out of his depth clinically..
I was taken into a meeting, senior managers and very quickly told to be quiet , and was told I was clearly jealous! Anyway.. I stood my ground, and reported higher up and to the registering bodies! Was stressful, and eventually was proven correct but horrible experience.
I commend the consultants and feel proud that their integrity shone through.
