I do actually think she has anxiety; I would never want to invalidate someone's experiences like that, as long as they're not self-diagnosing due to a few anxious flutters. I do, however, think her anxiety isn't helped by the people around her. I have really bad anxiety and agoraphobia stemming from other MIs, and for a while, it stayed especially bad because my parents coddled me instead of trying to help me by offering encouragement and a slight nudge, but still while recognising the struggles of having anxiety. I think she'd benefit a lot from having people give her more gentle nudges, or perhaps even having friends in Inverness who offer her chances to combat that anxiety with more exposure to people and things outside of work and family. She met Michael on a dating app, so I don't know why she hasn't yet considered looking to make friends online who live nearby, so that the initial 'getting to know each other' stage is dealt with online. I find that takes the edge off a little when you're navigating making friends while having anxiety.
She hasn’t considered it because as she says in plenty vlogs she doesn’t like girls and she doesn’t get on with people her own age. She seems to see not having friends as a quirk. I agree that there’s different levels of anxiety and you could easily do YouTube buy while having social anxiety but it seems to only be mentioned when it suits the narrative. It comes across as an excuse for laziness.

I call bull on her supposed anxiety, I think she just uses it to excuse her lack of ambition in life.
Correct. Like people who are using the current pandemic as an excuse to stay in doing literally nothing all day every day. Laziness.

Aw for gods sake, not another bikini haul. This is hysterical
I’ve no issue with YouTubers accepting stuff (to an extent) as we’d probably all do the same in that situation but this is just so off the mark and frankly feels like a parody video - 1. Never heard you mention going to your local leisure centre in a single vlog and 2. Read the room babes - there’s a pandemic on, not the time.

Unless she plans on whipping out her edgy bikinis to go snowboarding down the mountains - given that's all there really is weather-wise for her to enjoy in Inverness - I do not know where she plans on wearing those bikinis.
I suppose there’s that aqua place, where you can go down the slides in swimming pools. I can’t remember what it’s called.

She can afford it because she doesn’t go anywhere to spend money

She works full time so will earn at least a grand a month, topped up with YouTube money she probably has a decent amount of disposable income.

How much does tattoo removal cost? Yeah I reckon she would make just over a grand a month on minimum wage plus YouTube on top (no idea what that would be?) and I reckon her parents probably charge her a really nominal amount like £100 a month or something. She will have more disposable cash than those of us with better jobs who pay for normal expenses.

I've always thought lucille must have a good bit of money. I know she works in matalan but full time and earns a bit too from youtube. Even after saving she seems to have quite a bit of disposable income. One week the postman made a comment to her dad about how they were ordering lots of stuff. Then she went onto say she's great at saving. I consider if you're good at saving you're not spending like any moneyand saving it all. Maybe that's cause I don't have really any disposable income. When I need to save for something there's no money to spend. I can only save. If I was her I wouldn't be ordering or buying anything unless she really needed or wanted it. She should save every extra penny towards get a mortgage. So she must have a considerable disposable income, she says she sets aside amount each month and saves. She's lucky she can save and still treat herself and she still has money to buy birthday gifts and that. I'd say she's saving most of her money. I wouldn't say they're such a poor family. I think just normal. They could go out several trips to Costa and cinemas and take ways. My family would be poorer than them. We would never get takeaways maybe one or twice a year but its usually me treating my family 😊 They usually spend quite a bit on treats and that. So I would say they're not rich or anything just a normal family with quite a bit of disposable income. They can spend on trips to Costa and not worry about the bills. Sorry for going on. I've heard of them being talked about as poor before but I wouldn't consider them to be poor. Just a normal family who can treat themselves. If they saved all the money from Costa and takeaways and just saved a bit they could easily afford a holiday. I've heard that too being talked about before. Anyway I hope Lucille saves as much as she can :)

It feels weird talking about her/her family's income - it's such a British thing to not want to discuss it, lol. But yeah, I think she probably has a comfortable amount to get by with, especially since she isn't the type to generally make huge splurges. You can tell she's conscious with what she spends so that probably makes it appear like she has more. I don't see much of an issue with her frequent Costa trips like others in her comments section do tbh, since we're all allowed "treats" and it's not as if she's out meeting with friends often enough to be spending money on lunches and outings. I actually think she's quite good with money and is probably saving up rather well. Where she lives, I would imagine she has the added benefit of not needing to save up a ridiculously big deposit anyway. I'd definitely say her family are working class and likely hold back on other luxuries in order to enjoy Costa trips and takeaways, etc., but it's what seems to make them happy since it's clearly centred around family time. You can tell her dad works really hard to provide for them. I hope one of the next big gifts she gets for a family member is for him. 🥺

I agree with everything you've said 😊 I do like her family. I do think like mine they are working class and they can allow a treat every now and again. Probably most of the income comes from the dad. That's how it works in working class families. Not including lucille or Laura or her brother in that. The family income comes from her dad. I do hope she treats her dad to something nice next. My family is working class too and we get by ok. Occasionally have the odd treat. I had a thought about them never having a holiday. I know it's lucille's money and she does treat her family like bringing her mam away. If she wanted to before she could easily saved maybe the same amount she's saving for the mortgage and save towards a holiday for her family. I know she loves making memories. It would be lovely for all her family. I know it's not lucille's job to do that. I'm just mentioning it cause she is the one with the most money and she does treat her family. I know holidays are expensive. There are so many deals online with hotels and flights. A friend of mine went to Spain and stayed in a super fancy hotel it was only €40 a night. I'm irish so it's euros for me. You'd need spending money too but the family can try and save a bit too. It would be an incredible experience for them all to have together. Maybe just the family that lives in the house. I know it can't be done now for the time being with Laura just going to have a baby and lucille saving for a house. Or even in the future she could treat just her parents to a holiday abroad for an anniversary. It's just a nice idea. I know it's not lucille's job to treat them to a holiday. I was just thinking she could easily have saved for it in the past and I know family is really important to them. Sorry for babbling 😊
I know with the virus no one will be going on any holidays any time soon.

Just to say I have no problem with their trips to Costa or takeaways. That's how they treat themselves. Probably go without to allow themselves a treat. When they do go to Costa their actually my favourite vlog. We won't see that again for a while.

Lol at gifted bikinis. Just seems funny her in her room trying them on and filming whilst her family is pottering about nearby cooking pizza and chips and getting baby stuff set up. Just odd!

I know people comment on them eating out at Costa quite a lot etc but I don’t think they have a huge amount of money. They don’t go on holidays, Lucille doesn’t seem to have excessive amounts of clothes or gadgets or branded stuff. I think the takeaways and coffees are their treats. They don’t go on big days out or big trips away; I don’t think they’ve ever done a family holiday since I’ve watched her. That’s their way of treating themselves and spending time together. As much as I find her annoying she has treated her mum many times with trips away and gifts etc. I think her dad is very mans man and is happy with just a takeaway and a card. I’m sure she appreciates him.

She works 16 hours a week, so roughly a month she must make £500 from her job alone, not including overtime and not taking tax off.

Is that all? That’s a part time job really. Or does she have a 16 hour contract and work more overtime? Never heard her talk about her hours really...

She probably does the equivalent of full time, I can’t see her surviving on 16 hours a week.

How would you know something like that?

She definitely does full time or pretty much near that! She’s mentioned it loads of times. It’s super common in retail to be on low contracts but get overtime to make up the hours. Only management tend to be on full time contracts. Obviously it depends where you work but for a lot of retail stores that’s how it works.
