I cannot stand it when she does that slump head and close eyes boomerang story when she's tired. No big deal, just irritates me. :D

So she reached out (in other words wanted engagement) because Harry was having worries and viewers suggested getting a worry monster so did Lucie go out and buy a worry monster? No, she contacted the brand and did an AD profiting off her son's anxiety instead. Look lovingly at your toy H so Mummy can earn some cash.

Constant ADs with her at the moment!

I'm so glad you've said this, really annoys me too but I didnt to seem picky!

Newborns do make you tired but I never felt like that with mine, even after no sleep!

Everything about her is irritating me lately! Lol I don’t even get why she’s so tired she does nothing but sit in bed or on the sofa with the baby while her husband runs around doing school runs and feeding her it seems! If only we were all so lucky as to have a husband working from home running around after us!

I just couldn't leave my 3 week old baby to go out for the evening, even if it is only until 10pm. I just couldn't. That was the last thing on my mind. Sure, mums should be able to go out guilt-free just as much as a dad would, but personally I couldn't leave my baby for at least a few months.

Not sure going out socialising like she was last night is worth the risk with a three week old baby!

I can’t knock her for going out for a meal with friends. I think it is important for women to stay in touch with their prebaby life and if she feels comfortable doing it three weeks in so be it. It’s a strange time and it might be the last opportunity she gets in a while to socialise.. no one knows what restrictions are about to be imposed.

Irrelevant but I am in a Tier 2 area and it’s weird to see people socialising indoors!

what's wrong with that? If baby is safe with Dad at home she should be able to enjoy some time away

Same, I didnt leave my youngest until he was 18m! Maybe excessive but I couldn't, and that was pre Covid! Going out and socialising that close to people then home to cuddle a newborn doesnt sit right with me right now

Now she gets on my nerves for a lot of things but her baby is bottled fed and at home with his Dad so if she feels ready to go out with her friends she shouldn't feel any guilt.

Totally your choice and I hope no one would knock you on that. I just think sometimes mothers can’t do right for doing wrong. If she is comfortable leaving him at 3 weeks in the evening when he’ll mainly be sleeping that’s up to her. Likewise with the Covid... if you don’t feel personally comfortable mixing with friends at a restaurant that’s fine but then on the other hand mothers get criticised for being paranoid and not taking baby out so you just can’t win!

Each to their own about leaving them when they are little, it’s not his age for me, I just think back to when my baby was that age and I can’t imagine being willing to sacrifice any of the little amount of sleep I was getting to go out for the night! At any point past 7pm he went to sleep I was trying to sleep too.
