I doubt Louise signed a nda,why would she?
They were long time married and kids so he would have had little leverage over her in terms of divorce negotiations.
I have no doubt he cheated,he's a former footballer after all,but I'm not buying him being such a dog and that's why she left him,
She is so high profile with this since split about it all,and the regret is written all over her face.
She had bit of a mid life crisis and wanted her old life back and it didn't pan out that way.
No hate for her but she was very silly.
And worst of all she knows it.

Louise would often be in the audience when Jamie was filming A League of Their Own, and I’d heard cheating rumours about him, and wondered if that’s why she was there so often - to keep an eye on him.
He didn’t seem particularly devastated about the break up, publicly anyway.
I’m not a huge fan of either of them if I’m honest, and never bought the couple next door image; they seemed to enjoy living the high life, and if they kept under the radar I’d bet that was his choice because he didn’t want to be too closely scrutinised. Certainly Louise tried her hand at several TV jobs that didn’t pay off for her, so I don’t think she was always the little wife at home.
I think - with no evidence except my own hunches - that she went through some kind of mini breakdown after the split, but I suppose we’ll never know what turned out to be the final straw. I do believe though, that they’d already parted before strictly; I’m sure a neighbour of her Mums was quoted as saying she’d been living there for months.
Fair play to them for not airing too much dirty washing for their kids’ sake.

I thought she was ok on the Sunday lunchtime show with Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer but the bosses must not have thought the same.

Yes, she just seemed to be quietly ousted from that.

I liked the show but something was off. Whether Tim and Simon didn’t like her I’m not sure. But it never flowed.

He was an absolute dog!
She's well rid.

People on this thread say he’s a cheat etc. Maybe he was, but in hindsight, I think the main issue was that he was thriving, living life, off on little working jolly ups with his comedy mates, having a barrel of laughs, hobbies, golf, football, career opportunities etc. While she was the little woman at home holding it down. It can breed resentment. The men have time to nurture friendships, social lives, and careers and often the woman does not. Feeling unappreciated and not a priority is HUGE for a woman and will destroy a marriage- it erodes it slowly over time. I think that underneath the ‘golden couple’ exterior, it was really just Jamie living his best life and Louise always feeling like second place. Prob the Strictly thing was just the catalyst.

I think one of the biggest issues being married to Jamie is how his mum dotes on his dad, no 'modern' woman is going to basically do everything for her husband listening to Harry it's fairly definite he can't even organiser his own clothes!!

Jamie gave the impression of being ‘the perfect hubby’ but maybe he was more of a pampered, selfish type who put himself first expecting Louise to take care of the home and kids like his mum did. These are not attractive attributes and men like this are two a penny.

Men can have their cake and eat it but do they think a woman dreams of a man who is twaddling up the road with his golf clubs, off to go act the clown with their buddies for hours on end while you stay at home washing their dirty underwear? The man starts to lessen in their woman’s eyes and sadly a lot of women emotionally check out of their marriage when they feel unappreciated. Woman want to feel like the most important thing. It’s not rocket science.

Think most of us could have said how this story was going to pan out when they divorced.

He gets a new wife and new family within 10 minutes and she looks likes she's gonna be a spare part for the rest of her life.

To look like she's succeeding, she'd need to be one of those cougars with a new toy boy every 10 minutes. But she doesn't seem ruthless enough for that sort of life.

And face facts, there's very few older guys that want an older woman, even a good looking rich one. They all want some young bit of stuff. Even the ones on the Jeremy Kyle show were the same.

As others have said, if he was a relentless cheat, she better off without him.

I got up at 5am

She doesn’t need a man to be happy. She seems like she is doing fine. I always thought she made a mistake leaving her marriage but if he was that much of a cheater she is well off out of it.

I disagree, I don’t mind her normally but she was rubbish on the program. No interest in any of the food and not a good interviewer

It does seem like the Redknapps are a very old fashioned family; I remember Louise saying in an interview that Harry was an old fashioned type who didn’t believe women should be at football matches. And I can well believe that (although he probably would have rather she hadn’t said it!)
But I don’t for one moment believe that Louise was chained to the kitchen sink. She was always attempting new careers that just didn’t take off, and often posting pics from girlie holidays or business trips abroad.
Jamie even joked that he’d hide her Christmas pressies in the oven as it was never used.
I think the whole “I lost myself” line that Louise is giving out, is just something that they mutually agreed on. Probably to shield their sons. Can’t fault them for that.

Personally I don't think Louise,or anyone,would play the "I lost myself" card unless it was true,its just too embarrassing for her.
There is nothing wrong with " we just great apart"

This is true. She can’t have imagined the subsequent fallout. Maybe she thought it would come across as strong to leave and find herself again, but it’s been portrayed and seen by many as some sort of midlife crisis, sadly.

I think she had the choice of teetering on the edge of something new and exciting, or playing second fiddle to Jamie for the rest of her life. And the pull of a new life was too alluring. Then after seeing how much pain the divorce caused espec for her boys, she later wished she had stayed and worked on it. I think she still loved Jamie but just wanted more and was tired of being in his shadow. Being faced with the prospect of losing her, Jamie might have stepped up to fix the marriage. I think they should at least have given it a go and maybe had some counselling before throwing in the towel.
