Nope utter bollocks.
“Perfect” Jamie had loads of affairs and had a super injunction hence never in the media. Louise put up with it, until she got a taste of independence/fame again… you know the rest.

Well she did what she wanted anyway and put herself first, perhaps rightly in some peoples eyes, if she felt he was standing in the way of her goals and career. Obv women don’t have to just be wives or mothers. Men have done it too on strictly, got a new lease of life (often with their dance partner) but they left their wife and kids too and I think people judge them as well. Especially when there are kids involved as they have to deal with the consequences. Even though she has spoken of regret, she must have her reasons, and hopefully it wasn’t because she was taken with Clifton.
I don't think that any man, even known cheaters, attract as much vitriol as Louise does on the comment section of the Daily Mail. It is as if people took it personally that she moved away from Jamie. I suspect a lot of the comments were from women who had a crush on him, and also from entitled and misogynistic men. I saw so many 'The grass wasn't greener, hahahaha' and 'In your face, Louise'. It was so ugly. And now people are assuming that she is super upset and pining after Jamie. I hope she isn't and I don't see why she should be.

I have been searching on here for a Louise Redknapp thread but haven’t found one, correct me if I’m wrong and there already is one.

I have seen in some celeb gossip threads that Jamie gets a lot of hate and supposedly cheated etc etc. I personally think he was devoted to her and thought they were together for life, like Harry and Sandra. I think she had a wobble with the whole strictly thing and it caught him off guard. Not long before Strictly, she had been talking about having another baby. From her older Instagram posts, her life looked so lovely; family, holidays, friends etc. I just think it was a lot to give up for an uncertain future.

I think so too, I like Harry and Sandra and def think Jamie just thought him and Louise were forever like his mum and dad. They must have been upset when Louise left Jamie after 20 years. Wonder what Louise’s thoughts were when Harry was in the jungle and everyone was loving him. They seem to have embraced Frida, Sandra follows both Louise and Frida, probably to keep the peace for the boys.

I notice Harry doesn’t follow Louise.
I don't see why Louise should have to be a doormat all her life to please some old fashioned, patriarchal idea of the little woman at home by the fireside while her man plays away. From all I've heard, Jamie is a massive whore who expects a wife at home while he sleeps with whom he likes. I think that he may well find that he has bitten off more than he can chew with Frida. She has a rapacious look in her eyes. I doubt very much that she will be as easy to live with as Louise. I give the marriage five years, at a generous estimate.

Jamie cheated on Louise numerous times. There are a lot of injunctions around it, from what I understand some with Lousie’s approval to save her boys having to find out. Yes she left him but she has taken a lot of flack and kept fairly quiet about a lot of things even post divorce. I notice she still comments on Sandra’s Instagram pics.

even if she did have a taste of the party life style in her 40’s and want a bit more freedom so what. No one would bat an eye lid if it was the other way round and he went off partying every weekend, I think it’s right what other posters above say and he wanted a ‘Harry and Sandra’ marriage where she was 100% devoted to him

I follow Louise on Instagram and definitely think she's living her best life. She seems super close to her boys, often goes out, a deal with Peacocks, playing gigs etc.
Yes it must have been hard to walk away from her marriage but no one really knows the reason why. I left my husband 3 years ago after he had an affair. I really tried to make it work and stayed 2 years after finding out but something really changed in me. I'm single, 3 years on and don't pine for my marriage at all.
Jamie has moved on and I'm sure he's super happy but a newborn at nearly 50 and his new wife with 4 other kids isn't going to be easy at all. They do look happy though and I'm sure they'll have a great life together.
I don't buy this narrative that Louise is pining after him, it was her decision and she's stuck by it. Good on her I say!

I don't see why people assume that Louise must have cheated, had a fling with Daisy, or whatever. She might have done, but she might just have been bored staying at home while Jamie was away a lot. Plus there have been SO MANY cheating rumours about him. People assume that she is wailing and gnashing her teeth just because they think Jamie is good looking (which I don't at all, but we all have different tastes) You don't know what really went on in a marriage and I find a lot of people's veritable glee at Louise's supposed 'downfall' very distasteful.

Kevin watched and fancied Stacey before she was even announced and admits he pushed and badgered the producers to pair him with her and considering they ended up together that means the producers listened and makes you wonder how often this goes on.

This blows apart any story of the pros not knowing who the celebs are until pairing day as well, if that’s what the official line is at SCD? I am not saying it’s the case with every pro but those who are game players and have influence, i believe Giovanni has done this with Rose this year.

I believe Kev didn’t just fancy Stacey he also knew she was someone he could walk to the final with given the public would be bound to buy in to her ‘I’m just a normal working class girl proper down to earth…just like you!’ character.

Anyway from what i gather he was casually dating *ahem* leading on Louise while going through/coming out the other side of a divorce and all while beginning a new relationship with Stacey.

All that can only have left Louise feeling an absolute fool, she lost everything while Kev is happy as a pig in shit and explains her bitterness towards him.
What on earth does any woman see in slimy Kev? I find him actively repulsive, plus I would suspect that he had more clap than a standing ovation.

I like this response. Well done Louise! I thought it was interesting that she said she’s in control of her life so perhaps Jamie was controlling?
I don’t envy Jamie’s position at all. Far too many kids and I feel a bit sorry for his boys having to taken on so many step siblings….in fact I feel sorry for all the kids!!

Vernie has not exactly ever had a good rep. Here's a little bit from their manager Jazz Summers' autobiography (Big Life being the management company he set up with Tim Parry), in the days when Eternal were just a two piece (Easther and Vernie)...

I think she regrets what she’s done. She thought her career would kick off after strictly and she got that brief taste of what it’s like being in the limelight, which can be tempting for anyone stuck in the humdrum of life, but she should have got some counselling or something first before deciding to end it all, apparently JR was blindsided by her leaving & didn’t see it coming?

People on this thread say he’s a cheat etc. Maybe he was, but in hindsight, I think the main issue was that he was thriving, living life, off on little working jolly ups with his comedy mates, having a barrel of laughs, hobbies, golf, football, career opportunities etc. While she was the little woman at home holding it down. It can breed resentment. The men have time to nurture friendships, social lives, and careers and often the woman does not. Feeling unappreciated and not a priority is HUGE for a woman and will destroy a marriage- it erodes it slowly over time. I think that underneath the ‘golden couple’ exterior, it was really just Jamie living his best life and Louise always feeling like second place. Prob the Strictly thing was just the catalyst.

Given that Jamie seems to have cheated on Louise relentlessly while they were married,it's kind of galling that he got the fiancee and the baby and she's still alone.

You say by all accounts he was a cheater but there is no evidence of this! I think it’s unfair to paint a picture if him being a cheater if there’s no evidence. All the evidence we have is that Louise ended her marriage to jamie after appearing on strictly, she got close to her dance partner and then was trying to restart her singing career which was an epic fail. She never had one to begin with!
I get it, you're in love with Jamie. He won't go out with you, you know. He's too busy with his new wife and gazillion kids. I would much rather be in her position than his. And his 'career' is hardly amazing. He is an uncharismatic football pundit.

Wonder why she felt the need to correct them? Surely the new wife and the boys would know he wasn't there so who is it upsetting. Not excusing the lazy reporting btw but they must read made up stuff about them all the time.
I don’t blame her for correcting them, I think more people should do, even if it is fairly Innocuous. The press get away with so much and have done for too long.

So many people seem scandalised that a woman may have been excited to perform again after being a stay-at-home wife and mother for 15+ years. No one really knows what goes on behind closed doors. People rarely walk away from 20 years of marriage without cause.
I think that he may well find that he has bitten off more than he can chew with Frida. She has a rapacious look in her eyes. I doubt very much that she will be as easy to live with as Louise.
This is the interesting part. She has four other kids by her hedge fund manager ex-husband, who's 20 years her senior, and this pregnancy and wedding seemed to happen very quickly as well. That's seven kids altogether. Money's no object for them, I'm sure, but could be a lot of baggage to take on.

I think what is meant is that some people here talk about injunctions- but actually how do you know- not in an accusatory way, genuinely, how do you know about this and the cheating? What’s the source. Because I done some digging online and I didn’t find anything. I know there won’t be anything about the injunction but how do some people know about it then, if that makes sense.

Anyway, all that aside, I read this old article and I can relate to aspects of what Louise says. In my marriage, it’s a similar dynamic. I have been lucky enough to stay home and raise the kids and my husband has risen through the ranks which is great for our family; he works hard and is generous. However, once the kids started school, I struggled with my purpose and own independence. You can feel like ‘the lesser’ partner. I want my own pension plan and salary. I want to buy gifts from my own money and being, as us women say, ‘just a mother’ can chip away at your self worth a little as you see your partner being taken seriously and you are overworked with your hair in a bun and in joggers. I think a lot of women can feel like this. I decided to go back to university as I wanted to reclaim my independence and have a career I loved too, especially as the kids grow older. It gives you a sense of identity and pride, but it’s also scary starting again. With Louise, being an ex pop star, these feelings must be on a much larger scale.

Yes women who leave marriages definitely get a harder time. She may be one of those 'any man is better than no man' type women, but that doesn't mean it's true. She may have rose tinted glasses on, or maybe she didnt care about his cheating, but you don't throw away a happy marriage on a whim, so she must have not been happy in the marriage, but now she has rose tinted glasses on. The Rednapps seem very claustrophobic and very traditional in the 'little wife at home and hubby provides so he can do what he likes'. Louises kids are now older while Jamie is stepdad to 4, and has a new baby. Maybe she's breathing a sigh of relief. Just because the Daily Mail say shes miserable, doesnt mean she is!
