More begging. Louise wouldn’t be able to handle traditional media. It’s hard work, long hours and leaving yourself open to criticism.

What she isn’t seeing is all this begging to be on tv and banging on about wanting to branch out into traditional media is only going to alienate her social media followers. She’s already dropping her YouTube priorities, is all over Facebook and Instagram for the time being. Facebooks pretty much done now after all the data scandals and privacy breaches, Instagram is popular at the moment but it will have had its day at some point. She’s flitting between what’s popular right now, clinging onto it but ready to move to the next big thing. However she’s realised this will not last so is wanting to get onto tv and radio.

Why do these youtubers think they deserve to automatically be on tv?! It’s a complete slap on the face to those who have went to college and university studying that industry, started at the bottom and worked their way up to be passed over for someone who films themselves in bed during the day calling it their soft office and ‘mooching’ around villages with their ridiculously expensive gifted buggies.

Not to be ugly, but ever since a previous poster mentioned her looking a bit older/tired lately, I haven’t been able to unsee it.

Girlfriend looks like she could use a good facial, moisturizer, and a full night’s rest. Geesh.

I know we all go through rough phases, and age and wrinkles eventually will show, but I’m her age and look ten years younger by comparison. Not good.

You tubers often say the struggle with bing productions because vlogging and making their own svideos means they're 100% in control.

I agree as my friend is an author who self publishes but it’s so difficult to market her book and it would be a dream to get an actual publishing deal yet these youtubers get handed them on a plate yet their writing is bloody rubbish!

I swear this isn't how things work? I've never seen anyone go around like this. In order to be on tv you have to bring something of value to it. Either talent, experience or viewers and publicity or even the right personality but she hasn't any of these so why oh why does she think she deserves to be on tv just because she wants to be? What can she offer them? I wonder how she even builds up the courage to ask when she has nothing worthwhile to give to them

And then proudly going on social media and letting people know she's asking to be on tv. Before she'd at least cover it up by being like "traditional media" and wanting to merge them but now she's outright saying she asking people to put her on tv. No mention of radio or advertisement. Just TV because she wants to be famous. Such a good look isnt it?

I don't understand how she isn't able to see that she wouldn't be able to handle it either. She struggles with her life as it is. She struggles and then she cuts back but she wouldn't be able to do that with a professional job

Seems like she made her Instagram post about her kids just so she can talk about how happy she is to be away from her kids. But she had to add in I miss them at the start just to not be cruel

I know if I was away from my mum and missing her and I saw her talk about how happy she is to not be annoyed by me I'd feel quite sad especially since children miss their parents a lot. Heck I'm not darcys age but I'd feel sad now. Some things are just best left unsaid to not hurt someone's feelings

There’s nothing wrong with a little self promotion, I do it with my business, but I would never walk up to someone and say ‘LET ME WALK YOUR DOG!’ Just makes it a bit uncomfortable for all involved

How she shoudl really be marketing herself to TV execs is to be producing youtube content that reflects what she wants to do on TV. Host a morning show? Go out into the community and do some Q&A interviews - social workers, nurses, volunteers at animal shelters, new mums, CEOs. Want to do a fashion makeover show? Put thoughtfully curated fashion videos up targeted at different people. Rather than just discussing her own style, ask her friends and family if she could 'style' them to show that she can cater to more than just people who want to look like her. Blue Peter? Show how you can put together fun and educational activites for kids of a variety of ages with Darcy/Pearl/friends' kids... you guys get the idea. Surely this is not rocket science?? If I were a TV producer and looked at the last 6 months of her channel to get an idea of what I could expect from her, it would be moaning about 'feeling poorly/off/a bit meh', wandering around twee villages and pretending to do housework. Scintillating , NEXT!

Honestly, the gall of this moron to think she can just rock up and get given a job on telly. Just because we want something, doesn't mean we get it. I'm currently teaching this to my 18 month old who wants to lick the bin. He's getting the message quicker than Lou is...

I agree with above she has her own platform at the moment and a fantastic opportunity to create a showreel showcasing how good she would be as an interviewer or creating her own talkshow/ panel show. I thought that was the whole point in having a youtube channel that it was the future of tv and that they can create whatever content they want.

Shes not showing what she would bring to tv. Now shes sold herself as a mummy youtuber (despite not doing parenting content) shes shot herself in the foot as now her audience are already watching the shows like this morning, strictly etc so shes not bringing anything new.

I’ve just noticed her latest ‘bonus’ video (oh how you spoil us Louise giving us little bonus videos) was actually a paid partnership ad. I haven’t watched it yet but just noticed the AD in the title and then saw on her Instagram she was doing her ad on there to promote indesit and from the looks of it for a new dishwasher from them as well. They gave her a brand new washing machine and tumble dryer too when her other ones (I refuse to say old ones as it isn’t old) was only like 2/3 years old and then she gave them to her cousin. I’d rather donate them to a women’s refuge charity than give it to my cousin.

It’s this type of stuff, being given all these things that makes Louise think she’s entitled to be on tv. She totally reminds me of Veruca Salt from Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. ‘I want it NOW!’ Ironically Louise keeps going on about good eggs when Verucas demise was she was deemed a ‘bad egg’ and went down the chute. Considering her "old" washing machine and dryer weren't old at all this could have been a great opportunity for a giveaway. I'm sure the company has showrooms or something with working machines where she could have tested it for her audience and then giveaway the ones she was gifted But also I agree, it would have been nice to donate her old ones to charity - tbh it seems she only donates at Christmas

What TV has she done? She was on Celeb Mastermind (specialist subject Harry Potter. She was terrible) and that Sat teatime quiz with Rick Edwards - Impossible??? Anything else? Both times she seemed quite lacklustre, awkward and forgettable. Has she ever been on TV to discuss her books?
She was due to be on Radio 4s Woman's Hour recently but that didn't happen - don't know why.
I simply can't think where she would fit in on TV. Stand up to Cancer Bake-off? That sort of thing.
