I’ve just viewed that Imogenation page and her IG. My God. I’m perversely intrigued by it all.
A while ago I did a workshop ( I have to do this diplomatically) - full of social media gurus & “experts” discussing social media and mental health and positive body image.
There were plus sized representatives ( whom I overheard discussing how disgustingly skinny one of the speakers was) and self proclaimed experts who were only experts in their own mind based on the fact that they had an opinion on the subject.
The ticketed audience was girls / women from late teens to late 20’s. With a smattering of early 30‘S /40’s. I’d say a good 90% of the younger girls were entirely obsessed and fully influenced by people on social media and social media presence. These girls have grown up believing they are defined by what they have and what they look like is the most important thing in life ... and social media influence is a very real thing.
Many of them mentioned they wouldn’t go out on a night if they didn’t look right or they felt fat, or their lips didn’t look right , many suggested they had to stop looking at social media as it made them feel bad about themselves because of the constant comparisons.
They wouldn’t socialise unless they were going to a place that would look good on social media.
It really is staggering the impact these vapid influencers have - so when they lie , and fake certain lifestyles , it truly is impacting vulnerable impressionable girls.
I’ve got 2 girls and unfucking the damage caused by self obsessed narcissists is a full time job!

LL’s face, neck, hand and leg don’t look like they belong to the same body. It’s interesting that she never spoke about or used spf in any of her videos until we started talking about here now all she does is go on about SPF.
*other than the fact they are all unmistakably grubby they are different colours

I don’t know why she edits pictures like she does. It’s so obvious. She’s constantly covering her belly .. yet goes and promotes clothes and Clearly uses an ap to reduce her natural size to almost two sizes down. Christ. I’m a size 6-8,, why would I even consider going to a 00 ? Why not celebrate what she has .. than give people a fake illusion. And that fake tan. She looks like she’s related to Donald Trump

I’ve just watched the VE 75 programme .. these poor buggers sacrificed so much and had so little ! I can’t look at her stories today .. Spoilt Fukkin vain deceitful selfish witch

I think it was at least 3 weeks before Lorna even acknowledged there was anything else going on! Just carried on shopping and giving away stuff to maintain “interest”.

Hi again! So here is the Jimmy Choo story. JC’s press dinners are quite well known within the influencer community. They have quite a high budget for advertising and almost all the influencers try really hard to get invited to those dinners. They don’t even ask too much in return, just a couple of posts or stories on ig, that’s all. Mrs not so luxe managed to score herself an invitation. She likes to play it ‘cool’ by trying to play it ‘natural’, like ‘oh look at me, I’m just attending this niche event, I forgot I was invited’ but the truth is she tried really hard to be there and was counting days for the event. Anyway, she attends the dinner with a bare mention of Jimmy Choo. She posts the stunning dining table by tagging the influencers who also attended (so she can appear to be connected with such ‘well known’ figures) but not mentioning JC. Then she posts her handbag on the dining chair by tagging the brand of the handbag (competitor to JC) I believe it was Chanel but I can’t remember precisely. So quite naturally and expectedly, JC banned her to attend the future events. As I said , I have quite a few of these stories but I don’t want to reveal my identity.
