Yes... In fact, I find myself getting mildly irritated with the fact that they're still in the wrapping. Whenever I receive a bouquet of flowers, I always unwrap it, trim all the stems and remove the leaves, and arrange them nicely in a vase. How are they supposed to breathe when she's still got them all swaddled up in paper? No wonder they die.
