How very servants' quarters compared to the warm wood floors (no doubt) of the real vicarage. Stone to be easily scrubbed clean. What's wrong with pastry or tempering chocolate?! And spaniels, especially springers, are notoriously hyper. Idiotic woman. She only got the skincare sent to her in return for a shout-out; it's marketing, not kindness.
As someone who is daily dragged horizontally to the park by a springer and two cockers, before being able to "release the hounds" to run screaming with excitement (them, not me) through the brambles and bushes before digging wildly at mouse holes and molehills, I can confirm that spaniels are indeed, "hyper'.
My spanner is 12 now and only JUST slowing down ( when he feels like it obviously ! )

Just noticed on re-reading the latest crock o' rit: why have a 'preparation' station while being adamant that it will never be used? Why does she spend all that money for show only when she's driven off virtually everyone in her life so why bother with show stuff - just to boast about it in her column? I have a large marble slab for pastry which I bloody use for that purpose when preparing food for friends.
