Merseyside Police can't protect people getting rammed from a driver on an organised parade planned weeks ago, but quick enough to tell us about "white man"..so just their incompetence letting all this happen on a day of joy?? Yet they were swift enough to protect the driver from the crowds.
But fine take the piss out of me if it makes you feel better, even though I'm one of the few dealing with the facts we actually have here.

I'll probably get lambasted for saying this, but as well as the obvious trauma and grief for the families, it's just another moment of celebration ruined for so many isn't it? Sapping the life out of what was a happy event for thousands of people.
There have been so many horrible tragedies at what should be safe places - marathons, a kids dance class, music concerts, schools, sporting celebrations.

The police stepped in to protect him because a hundred angry people were about to tear him apart, and while I wouldn’t have personally minded that, we live in a country where vigilante justice isn’t legalAbsolutely not racist. I don't understand why they were attacking his car before he drove into the crowd as there's a car in front of him that no one is attacking

It seemed to happen when the parade was finishing up. I wonder if it was a drunken/drug influenced road rage? It didn't come across as a pre planned attack from what we have seen. I hope he rots in hell for this, what an awful end to what should've been a wonderful day celebrating.
Obviously you can’t assume too much from what we’ve seen but it looks like he was already driving like a fool. You see some kind of altercation and he seems to be reversing into the group of guys which sets them off
