Watching the video of him driving around before the main bit is crazy. He was nearly mowing people down and running red lights well before that, why was he so angry for the wick. Impatient man baby driving about on the roads knowing it would be busy and getting mad. I’ve come across lots of angry and impatient men whilst out driving, but just mad he got himself into such a state that he was driving into people without any self control!

Yeah, audio only. Bad enough as you can hear the thuds, but important to know just how much of a rage he was in.
I know social media is hardly the best example of intelligence or morality but it's baffling to see people still defending him in news comments etc.
Some are blaming the crowd/liverpudlians and others are ignoring the fact the media won't share the worst of the footage so they're saying that he didn't do anything wrong, he was only driving down the street, the people shouldn't have been in the road.

Agree - and he could not have left it any later to change his plea. He should not have had any sentence reduction. It felt like control, letting victims and their families think there would be a trial - right up to the last possible moment. Vile.

At least there was a statement issued that he apologises, takes full responsibility and doesn’t expect any sympathy. No he might not mean it, but where we have killers refusing to even attend sentencing, it’s at least not an F U to victims.

insinuating his wife has any blame is mental, he’s assured me it’s not what he meant and just that he was obvs already angry beforehand so it’s not the crowds fault but I hate this automatic blame women get for men always!I wonder if even then he was going for an insanity plea attempt? Right from the moment he did it, he lied.
