Yeah I thought it was weird. A bizarre thing to say just after carrying the attack out. Very very strangeThe body cam footage of him with the police and he’s saying thats just ruined so many peoples lives. Like he’s talking about someone that isn’t him.

Most importantly, did they search his wardrobe for Montirex?Oh no, it’s come out that the police don’t think it was a factor in his behaviour but it’s said police think he’s cough cough….not a red <ducks>
Dunno but I’m off to speak to the grafters on County Rd see if they think it was someone else driving. Also he has different hair than the guy in the photo. Most importantly, did they search his wardrobe for Montirex?![]()
Where’s this? I thought they weren’t releasing it cos it’s too distressing? They've released the audio of the dashcam footage. The sheer rage in him is terrifying, and the sound of him hitting people. Sickening![]()
Yeah, audio only. Bad enough as you can hear the thuds, but important to know just how much of a rage he was in.Where’s this? I thought they weren’t releasing it cos it’s too distressing?
nvm just seen it on Liverpool Echo
Scousers get the blame for everythingI know social media is hardly the best example of intelligence or morality but it's baffling to see people still defending him in news comments etc.
Some are blaming the crowd/liverpudlians and others are ignoring the fact the media won't share the worst of the footage so they're saying that he didn't do anything wrong, he was only driving down the street, the people shouldn't have been in the road.
Quite infuriating to read.
Social media is just ridiculous now - it’s full of rage bait.I actually just saw a comment saying his wife must have known what kind of mood he was in so she should have done something about it.
Then another saying he was an elite marine and ADHD has a lot to answer for.

Agree - and he could not have left it any later to change his plea. He should not have had any sentence reduction. It felt like control, letting victims and their families think there would be a trial - right up to the last possible moment. Vile.Surprise, surprise, he had a load of previous and was kicked out of the forces.
21y 6m is high for GBH, but Menary was soft to give him a 10% discount on the sentence for pleading guilty on the first day of the trial (when the coward realised he was going to have to face everyone).
Did you say he was known for being a bit soft?Surprise, surprise, he had a load of previous and was kicked out of the forces.

Honestly my partner just made a comment saying ‘he was pissed off by someone at home I think and was in a rage his whole journey’. I went madI actually just saw a comment saying his wife must have known what kind of mood he was in so she should have done something about it.

I wonder if even then he was going for an insanity plea attempt? Right from the moment he did it, he lied.Yeah I thought it was weird. A bizarre thing to say just after carrying the attack out. Very very strange
