Interesting that all the people leaping to paint a picture of normal he is, how nice his car is, how he helped an elderly neighbour to get their cat out of a tree, how his wife teaches at Sunday School are all people who wouldn’t have had more than basic interactions with him.
none of these things make him a decent human, they simply show that he done the absolute basics that almost every human being would do.
Wayne Couzens was protecting MPs in the Houses of Parliament. So what?
silence from the people who actually know him. No best mates leaping to his defence or providing any narrative. They’re the ones who know him and rightly, they’re keeping quiet. He’s a knob, and a wrong-un.
Same as my old line manager - lovely guy to me and everyone in work; used to give me nice recipes, bring me a coffee and have a laugh and a joke. Does that make him a decent person? No. He still went home and murdered his wife, leaving his son without a mother.
Stop trying to use his background to distance him from what he done on Monday. The victims deserve better, the witnesses deserve better, and so do the businesses locally who had to close on the Tuesday and part of Wednesday because of some coked up wanker and his fragile masculinity.
The fact he went to a RG uni - do you think that makes the parents of the 9yr old child, still in hospital, feel any better about it?
