It's shocked me, I thought these people would have to stop after his violent past came out but we're getting handwringing on his behalf still. It's crazy. I think so much of society has completely lost any concept of what it means to have a moral centre at this point.I know social media is hardly the best example of intelligence or morality but it's baffling to see people still defending him in news comments etc.
Some are blaming the crowd/liverpudlians and others are ignoring the fact the media won't share the worst of the footage so they're saying that he didn't do anything wrong, he was only driving down the street, the people shouldn't have been in the road.
Quite infuriating to read.
I also am certain that at least some of the defense of him is because it was Liverpool supports he went at. There is still so much prejudice against anything scouse out there, people are so weird about Liverpool.
