Local businesses didn't work with her at the beginning and she has stated as much herself. She has often talked about when she first started out blogging how she bought and paid for everything herself and she built up a following because people liked her style and personality on social media. Then when she had built up a following, she was able to make money from it. She was not an 'it' girl around Cork. Her early stuff was great but I've said it before and I'll say it again, her recent stuff has been brutal. Flogging tat left right and centre, she has lost what drew people to her in the first place.
Again, we must have very different recollections of events because off the top of my head I recall her doing collaborations with Amity, Caris Closet, The East Village, Soho, and the Voodoo Rooms all within a few short months of starting her blog.

I previously posted on the thread that I served her fairly regularly in a bar I used to work in and she got preferential treatment there too before she ever started blogging. Her and her friends never had to queue to get in and were always sorted with a table even if we were extremely busy.

She was also one of the very first bloggers to collaborate with a salon, her blog was barely a few months old when she started working with Alan Keville for Hair.
I’m a bit younger than her but I still knew who she was long before she started her blog.
She was well known around Cork and I don’t think that as many businesses would have been as eager to work with her if she wasn’t well known.
She certainly wasn’t a nobody like you’re trying to imply.

All I can see is the lashes, personally I don't think they suit her, make her eyes (well everyone's) smaller

I don't know how she does it, she must be exhausted, 3 smallies, fair play to her!
I think she’d look better without the lashes to be honest. But without her style and hair, I agree - she’s not typically beautiful
the lashes are way too much, don't suit her, especially without full make up

Yeah they’re very severe looking, especially seeing as they’re so black and her hair is so fair. They look very unnatural.

That's probably it really, they're v black. I'm not a fan of the false lashes on anyone, some are way too much & girls can't even keep their eyes open

So you're telling us 'off the top of your head' you remember no less than 5 collaborations she did within a few short months of her starting her blog, which was what, 5+ years ago??? 😅😂You're either scarily obsessed with her or I smell a big fat rat with you Daisyxo😂😂😂

Not really hun, I’m from Cork and I follow all those businesses on social media so would have seen their posts of her along with her own posts on her blog/Instagram.
When you are from the same city and frequent the same places it sticks in your mind a bit better. I went to Alan Kevilles myself and I also would have socialised in East Village and Soho quite a lot back in the day.
I could probably name similar early collaborations for other Cork bloggers too. Doesn’t make me a superfan or a rat, just local to the places that they worked with.
It’s really not a big sinister conspiracy, probably easier for you to write it off as that though.

Not the attractive is she!! Always looks immaculate but really thank god for clothes, makeup and hair, oh and lashes.. just speaking the truth.
She comes on all the time with no make up, bun on her head, pj’s / onesie and I still think she is very very pretty - just speaking the truth also.

I think she’s groomed - that said, she’s crawling with tan in person. So maybe that’s an anomaly!!! . Nobody could say she was ugly - she is pretty. She’s just not beautiful

I’m with you on that one, I think they can drown out someone’s else’s rather than opening up which they are supposed to do. I much prefer a simple stick on lash, not as overpowering as the density of the permanent ones

What is beautiful though? My husband tells me I’m beautiful, but he’d describe someone else as hot, when I think she’s alot prettier than me. Beauty is surely subjective and jj would appear beautiful to many people, they’re not wrong. If you don’t think she’s beautiful personally, that’s your opinion, fair dues but it’s not a fact. I can’t believe grown women 2000k posts in have to resort to well she’s not even beautiful anyway, like a haughty little brat in a playground trying to bully the kid she feels threatened by.

Especially when you “manufacture”
Your own stick on ones 😂
I’d say out of convenience with the baby coming etc she has them. I hope she goes back to the stick ons once she has a bit more time for herself! I guess they are one less thing to have to worry about in the mornings!

I can assure you I don’t feel threatened by her in the slightest . As you say - beauty is in the eye of the beholder- I don’t find her beautiful - I don’t find cosmetically enhanced dyedfake tanned people beautiful - others do. My prerogative.

I use false lashes but only when going out, the permanent ones are just too much by day for me but I think if I was a online with that many people eye balling me, I would go for them it would save a lot of time in the mornings especially when you have kids.

Without a doubt it is, but you don’t have the same prerogative to come on a public platform and share that as a fact, like there is a criteria she hasn’t met. I’m sure you’d have a fair few swipes left on tinder yourself so beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, or beer holder in a lot of cases I’d bet.

I think the same, she’s very polished and she is, as other people pointed out very striking. Like, you’d definitely notice her, but I think she craves that sort of attention.

I can see her moving away from the manufactured look as time goes on. Going more natural. She got the hideous implants taken out. She's far prettier without the lashes, but I think everyone is. She definitely gets botox from time to time. I only notice it in photos. Her figure is amazing and I don't buy the myth that she doesn't exercise. She works hard on her appearance. Loads of men and women do. She is a great looking woman. The clothes choices can be tacky but the young ones love them. Her look has definitely propelled her success.

Bad brows, Tangoed on & off, sweeping brush lashes but she has no Botox & no fillers & also removed her implants, I find her way more natural than the others. she doesn’t work out at all & eats so bad, it’s her breed, I said this before when I joined the thread.
