👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 we all know you put some weight on during pregnancy because you use every opportunity to tell us! (Nice, subtle hints about wanting new jeans there by the way)
She isn’t even that big! But I’m sure she’s making mums that are bigger feel bad. You put on weight when you have a baby it’s a fact of life!

I unfollowed her yesterday, the fact she's comparing buggies by the pool on her daughter's first holiday for the sake of a few pennies by way of a couple of affiliate links was the last straw, these people literally put Instagram before EVERYTHING going on in their lives.

Every time I see the words 'PR Experience' I literally want to gauge my own eyes out. Almost every influencer - when they do declare - can declare it for what it is - gifted. Not Lily. Lily has to be different. Lily has been in this industry LONGER than ANYONE ELSE, she is not like those OTHER INFLUENCERS.

Lily does not receive gifts, Lily receives experiences.

I usually don’t mind Lily but she’s been a parent for 2 months and is dishing out advice like she’s had 5 children.

Breastfeeding essentials list - she only fed Grey for 6 weeks! I’m still feeding my third (18 months old) and my list wouldn’t be as long as hers and I had just as many, if not more issues in the beginning 🤦🏻‍♀️ And my advice for children and weddings is ‘don’t take them’ 😂

I had no idea what a push present was and just googled it. What does the gift represent? Congrats you gave birth? What was she going to do, leave it in there for another 9 months?

I’m so cynical as I don’t have children so probably don’t understand the enormity BUT it was a choice she made to have a baby so why does she seek so much attention and reward for it? Idk why but everything she does annoys me really, she’s SO condescending and really boring. She doesn’t ever seem to have a sense of humour about anything.

Why can't these companies actually do something more egalitarian and positive, like give the consumers the discount codes or donate their products to hospitals, shelters, food banks etc rather than further line the nests of already fortunate influencers who moan if they have to even spend a penny of their own.
100% agree. I don't think it's fair that we're meant to use affiliate links but we don't get so much as a small discount as a thank you? I go out of my way to NOT use affiliate links. I don't see why I should when it's still going to cost me the exact same price it would if I went through the website.

She says giveaways are too difficult?!? Is she out of her mind? You bundle them up, get your followers to randomly comment on a post or something ask them for there address and the get some post bags (Poundland do them) and then go to the post office, she’d be able to do it...... it’s not hard, I bet if she needed to sell stuff on depop she’d manage

She’s back begging for freebies to renovate the front of her house! This is not content, this is blatant fishing for free stuff she could easily afford to buy! Does she even own a purse or a credit card? This is abuse of social media and it makes me so angry that they get away with it!

What does she mean “you guys won’t mind”??? Of course people will mind when someone whose whole life is gifted is given even more free stuff she can well afford herself! While orher people struggle to afford even basic items for their baby! Privileged spoilt madam!
It's so manipulative, they're all at it suggesting that anyone that cares about the "silly rules" is not a real fan and some jelous busybody.

I called her out on it on instagram amd she came back to me about saying 99% were recommendations and that she finds it offensive that i would suggest this and she can afford to buy one.

I said if this is the case then why didnt you turn down your freebie previous sofa if this was the case....

If she goes into the maternity ward, and comes out with just her baby and not a #gifted newborn boy, a blood pressure machine and at least one girl from a set of twins this girl is loosing her touch.
I’m half waiting for Rich to wheel her out on the hospital bed with #gifted printed on her deflated bump carefully hidden behind the babies.😐

Interesting how annoyed she was by neighbor's construction noise considering she put her neighbors through months of it herself.

LOL. I replied to her story saying as a GP well done for getting your child vaccinated but if you want to discuss funding for a separate room speak to your MP not your surgery.

On her stories today shes talking about going to an industry event with some brands so she can “talk to them about how best to work together because fundamentally the better they know about working with us in an organic and authentic way, the better it is for you guys”. THE BETTER IT IS FOR YOU GUYS!!! What planet is she on?!?! We don’t need her constantly advertising shit at us in an underhand “authentic” way, wow so “organic” thank you lily! My life is so enriched by you working with brands, how will I ever thank you!!! When are these influencers going to wake up and realise how pointless their jobs are
An 'organic' way would be if she actually paid for products and then reviewed them honestly.

OOh I love this save up for one my arse. We recently decided we will replace our 12 year old TV in the sitting room. We are 2 early retired pensioners and yes freely admit we don't exist on a basic pension by any stretch of the imagination, are mortgage free and have reasonable savings. However going on his job average salary estimation and what instagrammers with her number of followers seem to earn their income is estimated to be 5 times ours per annum. So wtf is she talking about. Their only extra outgoings to us are their mortgage and maybe student loans. On the other side they have earnings opportunities we don't - known as free gifts. Yet for us TV purchase is no sweat. We pop into John Lewis because we like their added years guarantee, we don't want the very latest one that virtually makes you your evening hot chocolate drink for late night TV viewing (Good job they seem to be £2000+ but you know what we could have afforded it if we could have seen the point or more truthfully understood it). Us - We want a SMART TV like we have in our bedroom. OK Sony 48" is £750 say no more we add the sound bar and a couple of other bits we spend just over £1000. DISCLAIMER ALERT: I am very aware thats a lot of money for very many people please bear with me the point of this is just to show that using us as a comparable Lily and her husband appear to have the resources to easily go out and buy their own SMART TV

Just watched her q&a video, some thoughts...

  • We get it lily, you’re struggling with your postpartum body. But you know what? People have suffered A LOT more than you with their bodies. You’re young, healthy & capable. You were able to naturally conceive and bear a child, a blessing that lots of people don’t get. Be fucking grateful, and if you’re struggling, try cutting back on all that wine, eh?
  • Grey doesn’t need ‘stimulating’ all the time she’s awake, babies WILL quite happily sit in a chair and watch you going about your work tasks. They’re discovering their hands and legs, watching the shadows, following you around the room. Everything is a toy for them, show your baby the makeup your reviewing, talk them through what you’re doing, show them your camera etc etc
  • “we ONLY have a cleaner for two hours a week” 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Good grief! I’m sure there was more but my brain has kindly forgotten most of her answers.

Me as well. I think there is going to be a huge swing against all this. I think it is disgusting. How many people did they send 60 lipsticks to!! JFC what is wrong with the world
It really makes you question as a consumer where the money you spend is going. It really is gross that companies charge £22 for a single lipstick and then spend thousands on influencer freebies and blogger trips!
