The mother also said that she saw him put it in his mouth so I’m fairly confused as to whether she did or didn’t know that it was a button battery or just that she saw him out something in his mouth.The original posters son who is in hospital after swallowing the battery was able to get his hands on it without the mother’s awareness she didn’t even know until they did a scan that’s what it was! Not sure if it fell out or the child somehow managed to remove it but the mum had mentioned ‘legal reasons’ for why she couldn’t go into more depth about what happened so I would assume there is potentially fault with the manufacturer.. I guess there is always the risk of toys being broken or faulty, apparently children swallowing them is not that uncommon

Lay clothes out the night before, put the breakfast stuff out, pack any bags the night before. Just be a bit more organised. I totally get it’s hard going from 1 to 3 children but she doesn’t help herself. And what is she going to do when her eldest goes back to school, she needs to do some practice school runs
