I thought it was a little bit sly to be honest. I would say Emma and Caroline share quite a few followers so now they might use Emma’s link and code instead of the other!
Good point, I didn’t even think of this. Such a good ‘instafriend’ 🥴

Anyone else bored of the “Twin” thing. Can’t believe we have TWO Snuz Pods in here (gifted, obvs 🙄) these carriers are expensive when you need TWO. Getting out the house with TWO babies is hard etc etc. We get it, you’ve got twins which equals TWO babies !! You don’t need to remind us 5 times a frigging day, every day !!
She’s like the only woman to have ever given birth! I have an almost 8 year old, 3 year old & a 20 week old baby & sometimes it takes me all morning to get ready & out the house - it’s not exactly a breeze to all us inferior Mums that only have the ONE baby either you know 🙄. Feel like is typical Em to be able to “one up” everyone else.

Or maybe she’s just excited to have been blessed with twins after having a miscarriage

I would almost certainly guarantee that she is. Any child is a blessing & even more so after fertility issues & previous losses.
Noothingsaylike pimping out your rainbow babies

Nothing says a blessed feeling like pimping out your rainbow babies for a few quid

Genuine question here and I’m not getting on to anyone or there’s no right or wrong but if you got the chance to be an “influencer” and earn the mad amount of money they did.... would you? I think I would.

I agree here, I think there’s a difference between Emma who takes pics of her kids but they aren’t working, whereas some who parade their children around for YouTube etc I think is wrong

Not if it involved making money from my kid. I don't even post pictures of her on Instagram or Facebook.

I wouldnt feel comfortable using the kids to make money. Especially when they are toddlers and up. I used to post pictures of my kids when they were babies to toddlers but I dont anymore.

If it was just me, sure, why not!

No, the internet is forever and you don’t own your picture on social media, so I think it’s risky for kids in a number of ways. They also grow and we will see how today’s teenagers and twenty somethings feel about everyone consuming their childhood.
People counterit by saying that since the money is spent on the kids it’s justified, but I have issues with putting pressure on a child to perform for money. I can’t imagine they’re always into it, and god knows what goes on behind the scenes to get them on camera, or punish them if they won’t. And if the kids performing then it’s their money, which causes complications.
Plus if Instagram goes tomorrow - bye bye business. It could happen, in fact covid has hurt a lot of influencers who can’t influence.
Plus it’s all bull tit, Em’s cousin lil has admitted that her relationship a year ago was in turmoil- but if you scan back it was family content like a normal family. It sets up crazy expectations, people suffering see all these happy households when in fact they are just as fucked up but are lying to suck you in.
So from me it’s a no. I guess some will have different morals and values to me

I wouldn’t post my kids online for the world to see, no. Not for any amount of money.

But that is my own, personal opinion & fully respect other people will have a different view.

I'm just going to talk about the involvement of kids....Some people have publicly stated that they will no longer being showing off their children due to the dark web... then you have these influencers showing off their kids because they realise thats where the money is.! So they are doing it for their own selfish reason. If their kid wants to perform, go pay for drama lessons. No kid ever asked "please mum, I'd like to do an ad for reading eggs"

Absolutely not. Having worked in the police and witnessed first hand what kind of stuff the images they share are used for. Let’s not forget ANYONE can access pictures of those children.

I honestly wouldn’t. I wouldn’t put my children on the internet for all to see, for all the tea in China. Even just me, I still wouldn’t. It’s a very fake lifestyle, always glued to your phone, pretending you love every freebie that comes your way, sharing every small detail of your life for content. I honestly don’t think it is any way to live and can’t be good for mental health, relationships with friends and family, and many other things

I always say this. Once you put something on the internet you’ve lost control forever. Which is why I don’t agree with certain aspects of the ‘trolling’. I think I’d you’ve willingly put things out there for people to see then you can’t expect to have no comebacks to it. I am
Not saying that it’s ok to troll people I just think if you’re putting yourself out there then you should be prepared to deal with the outcome

Really good point. influencers like to say they’re presenting an ad or free entertainment and swipe on if you don’t like it. But you know why that’s crap? Because with normal entertainment you can review it and it’s not called trolling, or you can contact companies and comment on their ads, or even deal with customer relations. Influencers pocket the money that used to go to media and advertising, but don’t realise they are the front line and an audience can have both negative and positive feedback.

No amount of money in the world would make me want to sell my children and their privacy. These influencers know that paedos scour their pages for photos of their children to use on child abuse/porn websites.

Not even just kids, there is no way I’d want to broadcast my entire life on Instagram, people knowing what you do where you go etc!
Im quite a private person anyway but just couldn’t imagine doing it for any amount of money!
