it’s interesting to think about. i think the people you have around you and your own personality are probably big factors. if you already have slightly insecure or obsessive tendencies, or have a thin skin, then i think you’ll struggle from the off. the level of fame you have to deal with is so variable too, and one direction were on a different level in what they had to navigate.
I agree, and I think to some extent it's the same in a lot of professions and line of work. People cope differently with pressure. Some people sail through, can let criticism or failure or pressure wash over them, others crumble, dwell on everything, take things much more to heart. We're all different so it stands to reason that everyone will have a different experience.
I don't doubt that some of the young stars go through trauma but I also think there's a fair few that come out of the woodwork to jump on the bandwagon. Because they have nothing else. They had this glimpse of "fame" but it wasn't real. They're still clinging on to being in the public eye. Obviously not talking about Liam as he was a big star.

Great post. The music industry chewed them up and spat them out. After that it was a case of sink or swim, and Harry was really the only one who managed to launch a successful solo career.
I wouldn't say that is true, I think they've all had success as solo artists, Harry just has had the most.
