Interesting this. She’s taken screenshots of other people’s lives, homes, haircuts, bedrooms, outfits etc and used them to sell her godawfullookin “evening with Laura” chat. Not very authentic like. But this fits with the creepy thing of her copying other people’s lives. Quite tragic.

Yes! I mean, I’m no stranger to Pinterest or saving pics from Instagram of other people’s sofas or hairstyles, and I’m sure many others do the same, but the act of posting these images “on grid” and then attempting to assign deeper meaning to them in a bid to sell some kind of slightly culty online chat is both very narcissistic and extremely inauthentic.

Do multiple photo posts work more favourably in the algorithym or something? She’s obviously quite keen to milk this online chat room nightmare for all it’s worth.

Long time lurker (obsessed with MOD and FOD lol) and first time commenter but I went to order Laura Jane Williams book on Amazon and saw some reviews about it being a copy of "The Note" which I already read. I thought I'd see if there's a thread on here and whoa!!!!!!! 45 pages later I'm out of the rabbit hole and a bit disgusted by the tongue and the outfits and the mental ness to be honest. And I lost a day to it lol!!!!! I suppose I saved £6.99 or whatever.

And her face put me right off my ham sandwich at lunch!!!!!

Secondly how insulting to those who have created that content that she was too much of a lazy, self-obsessed twit to credit / tag those creators from the outset. Let's imagine for a moment that someone did that to her..... she would be off the scale. I know someone who has felt her wrath in DMs and this lady needs an extra sofa in her house for her ego. Very self-obsessed and unpleasant with no humility whatsoever.

you can’t necessarily know someone’s preferred pronouns just by looking at them. Many cis people have started putting their pronouns in their bios to normalise asking the question, and also as a show of solidarity with trans and nb people.

Asos have started doing it as well on every photo they post. The first time I saw (she/her) after the models name I instantly assumed they must be a trans woman because it seemed odd that they would put it otherwise. But it turns out they just do it for everyone. Perfomative and pointless IMO. It’s like writing their hair colour or their eye colour when you can clearly see it. This is probably a topic for the gender discussions thread though
