Any indication Brian might start taking an obesity medication like Ozempic? He needs to get serious about his weight before he has a stroke or heart attack.
I thought the same thing...he seems to be an ideal patient where risk vs benefit would make a Dr. put him on it.....BUT and this is a big BUT he has one Kidney and cautions with the O drug are all about its impact on Kidneys. I don't think he can take it but of course up to his doctor.

You can eat incredibly crappy food on any diet including vegan. Brian clearly eats far too much volume whatever he's eating and is maintaining his bulk. He's never really slimmed down. Plant based eating with very small children isn't easy to get right so I don't agree with her either. I doubt they're modelling good eating habits as they are not sticking to healthy eating themselves.
Their obsession with "plant based diet" looks just silly given each of their respective health histories and weight issues. I can't exactly tell with Jessica but Brian is clearly morbidly obese and proud to eat crap ...they should just eat balanced diet..maybe try some consults when at the Mayo and follow their diet. This vegan stuff is a cop out for them. These last two shows are just Jessica shaming Brian and I don't see the point as they come to no conclusion..neither wants to change. And yes what are they doing sitting around in Ohio? Jessica must make a really good income given a new house and expenses of travel to/from Rochester and raising a child. Brian has no job nor is he looking for one. I think their return to YT is based on need for the income stream whatever that is.

Brian isn’t working? Is he full time caregiver for their daughter?

He lost his job a long time ago and unless he has a new one (no mention of this) yes he has been full time caregiver of Elsie. I stand corrected if someone knows something different?

I don’t think we have ever seen any update to say otherwise so I guess he continues as the stay at home parent… stay at home and eat eat eat!

It’s quite obvious his pledge to get himself healthier which was early into his cancer diagnosis was just talk and he has little willpower to oblige.
Yet another family where the smell of money overshadows a good healthy lifestyle. Pity the kid is going to be in the middle of their unhealthy affairs ….

8 months ago Brian made a promise to his surgeon and to himself when deciding whether to do partial kidney removal or the whole thing that he would lose weight and "get healthy" as the weight is really a burden to that remaining kidney. It appears to me that even that did not register with him. Jessie is making him look like an idiot sitting there and talking about what he eats. This guy is not just overweight he was over 500 lbs and I bet is still about 400 lbs. He is in for some real health issues beyond cancer. I thought after this long absence that when he came back on YT he would have a significant amount of weight. Not happening. If they read sorry but this is really life and death and hard to watch.

Agree it was hard to watch - I had to stop the video about 1/3 of the way into it. I don’t care if he works or does the childcare - that‘s up to each couple based on their financial situation and cost of childcare in their area - but the recklessness about health when you are a parent is upsetting to me.

what I find bizarre is the main concern is not Brian's health but rather if Elsie sees him take a bit of a cookie. I just don't get them anymore.

So that is what I missed by stopping the video before the end. Well agree - the child seeing is not as important as the life endangering health condition of obesity. But I give them credit for at least realizing how the daughter’s ideas about food will be affected by what food choices she sees her parents making.

I don’t believe anyone was questioning or commenting on Brian as the child’s daytime carer … merely it is probably he who still does this.

His being a stay at home day is not an issue at this point makes the most sense...as mentioned Jessica has a good job and probably works many hours. But I will. say he lost that job long ago and I guess at that point was Jessica's caregiver during the cancer. She seems like much more of a go getter than him. They seem like devoted parents but I am concerned he won't be around to see Elsie grow up unless he gets very serious about his health.

Sadly there are people who are ‘gunners’ and people who are do’ers! I think Brian is the one who is ‘going to do’ and never gets there (gunners)
More hot air than determination. I must say if I was advised that to give myself the best chance possible to see my children grow up meant losing weight and getting fit, both my husband and I would not waste a minute of preparedness to get there. To add a cancer diagnosis to the weight problem, to me, just increases the determination to get healthy to afford myself every chance of being around in decades to come.
Brian’s oversight of a significant and glaringly obvious need tells me he has some mental health issues in the background that need addressing before he can maturely move forward.
I think his deaf ears need a clean out because reality could not fall heavier … literally!

Today 2/2 they are back

Frankly I can't believe it given the past couple of videos and so many pending health issues for both of them.
Tess had an awful post delivery experience. I don't understand it at all.

I see there are some brutally honest people coming on in the comments with their opinions on Tess doing this again. She has a family and can't believe her husband would encourage this. The way the two of them talk sounded very childish and not at all like two mature women. Right now Jessica latest scans gave Mayo docs caused enough concern to order them in 2 months rather than 3. Brian is morbidly obese and has one kidney with uncertain outcome after no follow up treatments and renal cancer. Tess almost died last time after Elsie was born. I think most would say concentrate on Elsie and your own health. It does seem like today's video was for the $$ and they are gearing up for more. Jessie has had depression and other issues in the past and does not take well to negative comments. This could get interesting.

They seem to be more concerned on whether or not the implant would be successful (re: scar tissue) than on any risk to Tess. I think that a second opinion on Tess's health, is more than warranted. There are really many issues that I can't completely wrap my mind around. Like Mom and Dad are both cancer patients. Plus, they've just spent the last two videos explaining the difficulty they're both having making positive improvements in their health. I suppose its none of my business but they put it out there. The whole thing seems kinda strange.

Went back to reread the thread under the video and it does sound like they've pursued other opinions regarding risks to Tess. Honestly, I think what surprised me most was Brian and Jessica's precarious health situation. I don't know. I suppose you can't live like that. You know...full of the "what ifs". Just found the timing of the announcment coupled with the previous vids unusual.

I too found the timing noteworthy and it seems they are searching for content.

So ... they were very close to starting the process of locating a non-Tess surrogate. Ummm ... how were they planning to cough the $50,000 (or more) in cold hard cash to provide to the surrogate as well as the additional money for the agency/attorney fees? Don't they have a mortgage? What about hospital copays for both of them? Are those all paid off? Their car must have a bajillion miles racked up what with all the driving they do, back and forth between MO, MN and OH. I just don't understand how they have all this money just sitting around to be able to pay for a surrogate (as well as the cost to raise another child.) But hey hey hey Tess is here to save the day (and save the Krocks a lot a lot a lot of bucks). And just think, there are two Krocksicles waiting to be implanted ...

I’m disgusted they would even think of using Tess again. Why is it all about them when in fact, it should definitively be all about priorities and another child is certainly not a priority when you look at their lives.

Their health is abysmal, they struggle financially, Brian has just recovered from cancer surgery, Jessica’s health is debatable, they already have a young child via surrogacy, they are both heart attacks waiting to happen given obesity and morbid obesity issues and placing importance on another surrogate pregnancy is not a very mature decision. Poor kids!

all this behavior is consistent with the first implantation. I will never forget that Jessica had not even gotten to the first set of scans after the surgery and Tess was pregnant. AS far as the financials I guess we may not know the full picture but living at their parents after married usually is a signal that a couple is short on money. Family money? Does not seem likely but again we don't know. My guess is GFM may be in the future if Tess is not the surrogate.
