I think I’m quite good at making myself a balanced program. Just run out of ideas eventually. I don’t have the money to waste. I have a free app that has some ok looking programs if I struggle.

Yeah but things don't need to be continuously changed to work, change rep ranges, number of sets, exercise variation eventually but no need to mix it up all the time. It's not like the influencers have anything revolutionary in their programs, I've seen tons of their pdf guides and they're all the same pretty much. Same exercises, same number of sets, reps etc. Waste of money

Exactly, progression is literally just increasing weights/reps on the same or similar workouts. So you might have a squat day that looks like this:

Squat 5x5 at 50kg
Front Squat 4x8 at 30kg
Split Squat 4x8 at 20kg bar
Leg Press 4x12 at 40kg
Leg Extensions 4x12 at 20kg

The next week you can go "ok, form dropped a little on my 5x5 so I stay there to focus on getting those spot on, but my front squat felt great, so let's go 4x10 for those, and my leg press was good too, so increase weight to 50 and try for 8"

Training for strength and hypertrophy can be boring because it's the same over and over. Don't let influencers fool you into believing it has to be different all the time. Give it anything from 8-12 weeks on one programme, making progression that way before changing your accessories.

back when I was starting out in fitness and was naive enough to take influencers words as gospel, I purchased an influencer's (not Krissys) booty guide (I know, makes me cringe too). I was so disappointed to see that it was literally 4x10 of like 5 leg exercises in a workout. I could have easily written that even at that early stage in my fitness journey and I was so upset that I wasted my money on something I could've done myself. Now I unfollowed most fitness influencers and followed credible accounts like Coach Mark Carroll. Changed my life.

Please don’t bother with influencer fitness apps 😣 Krissy really just loves herself! I thought about it ages ago but didn’t want to line her pockets. There are much better apps anyway.

I highly recommend Les Mills on Demand. Great instructors and a range of workouts

Thank you so much because Les Mills was the other app I was thinking about. I find apps really work for me because I like to switch off and follow the instructure.

No worries! It got my bum off the sofa during lockdown and since then cancelled my gym membership I hardly used.
I now work out 4 times a week and actually enjoy working out. I did get the equipment but you don’t have to. There are cheaper alternatives you can get, if you want to try classes. Definitely worth the £8 a month ☺

I'm always amazed by the "it takes me 9 months to write this programme". Imagine if you hired a pt and they said yeah sure in 9 months we can't start once I have written the plan.

Don’t you just hate the way her ‘fans’ or whoever talk about Oner clothing? I can’t explain.. but they all talk about it with the same mannerism- is that the right word? 😅 hopefully someone gets what I’m talking about.
It’s like they copy Krissy in the way she talks and comes across. Weird!!

Yeah I know someone who is an affiliate/ambassador thing (never declares her ads) and it is almost creepy what a clone she is and how much she goes on about her and revolves her life around Oner. Same words, same cadence, same themes etc.
I think they get given a script of buzzwords to say.
Apparently she treats her ambassadors pretty poorly despite them all being up her a.

Yes, I’ve read she doesn’t treat her ambassadors well. She likes to make you think she does though!

There is something so toxic about her. Always checking her a and eye f****** herself

Shes just obsessed with herself in unhealthy amounts really - this is just another excuse to show off her body. All of today's mirror admiring is so insufferable. These effortless leggings are very low compression and won't give any tummy support to those who don't have an influencer body aka most of the general pop

Today's effortless restock hasnt gone down well...soo many negative comments under all of Oner Active's recent posts. Seems like Krissy is interested in generating hype and underdelivering. Not even sure why her minions think Effortless is anything revolutionary anyway. Amplifies have been around for over a year longer.
