Why did she rehome the dog Buddy? That is heartless as he and Dolly got on so well. Who has Buddy now?

I am in two minds about her, she has gone through so much trauma she is going 100mph and it will hit her like a ton of bricks which is why therapy is so important and for the kids. She needs to slow down a bit.
Therapy is such a private thing i don’t think it should be filmed and cos it’s being filmed she is not opening up so much and putting on a brave face.
Saying that though she says herself she is very adaptable to situations so admits they are doing ok so does that explain why she appears so positive? I don’t know how she does it I would be in pieces. I don’t have a support network around me though like she does.

One other thing, if I had a pound for every time she used the word ‘like’ I would be rich!
Her Aunt Julie has Buddy now, poor thing only has three legs now so maybe too much work for Kelsey? I don’t know, but very strange and a shame for the other dog Dolly.

I feel her friends, especially Dean, seem to be grieving way more deeply than she is. I know everyone deals with grief differently, but they just seem a lot more upset about his loss.

From my own personal experience, when my partner died , I often ended up comforting people because on top of their grief they feel so devastated for you, it’s their way to show love so you end up being strong for them. Therapy is a must, it helps no end to speak to someone who is a stranger to the situation. In regards to the kids, my daughter was around the same age as Tom’s kids and she didn’t have a clue what was going on, 12 years on she sadly has no memory of her Dad, which even more sadly is somehow better for her. She can’t miss what she doesn’t remember, however she misses what could have been. I can’t help but empathise with Kelsey because I’ve been there, it emotions are just a rollercoaster and you do anything to survive, I myself kept busy all the time, I needed things to do! I also started a fling 5 months after, nothing serious someone i saw when my daughter was with grandparents, i told not a soul about it becAuse I felt so guilty but i desperately needed some kind of comfort the loneliness and the gravity of the situation is crushing.

Never been on these threads. I dont know why I didnt think it would be on here but hi 👋 I thought I'd pop a message as I've read a couple comments here I've clearly got ALOT of reading to do lol. I just wanted to say I always sensed a very off vibe with her through it all. Just her behaviour, how she came across & her emotions. I also felt like it was all about HER. Then when i saw she'd moved on... JESUS CHRIST! I'm not saying people shouldn't move on but that soon!? I just dont understand it. She seems pretty chirpy aswell.. me me me is all I think. I dont even have words tbh! She doesn't come across a nice person at all to be honest.

Its heartbreaking what he went through. Devastating. Those poor babies :'( I still actually can't get my head around it. I hope those babies are ok ♡ and I honestly hope this other man hasn't been brought around them so soon!!

I know this thread is about Kelsey, but look what I found whilst scrolling through Tom’s Insta stories. This was taken on 25th March 2020 - 5 months before diagnosis - and two years before he died. I’m sure that was the eye that eventually closed 😒
There’s a woman on instagram who sadly lost her child to brain cancer and I remember as her child was fighting the cancer I was looking through the woman’s instagram my heart was breaking for them but I noticed in posts many months before the girl was diagnosed before they even knew anything was wrong with her I saw one of her eyes in a lot of photos looked just like Toms does in that story and eventually that eye was badly effected couldn’t open it and it did make me think that must a be a sign the cancer is there. It’s very sad and scary how something can be there and we have no idea until months later cause it’s not something a lot of us would notice or pay attention to.

I’m only just catching up with this mats episodes.
the one where Louisa comes round and she’s so upset and speaks so highly of Tom. Then Kelsey is banging on about Kelsey and deans wedding and the way she said about not wanting the day to be ALL about her. That thought shouldn’t have even entered her mind. It was her friends wedding.. not hers, or anything remotely to do with her.

She got more emotional over her friends speech about how well she was doing, than watching her daughters performance 🙄

I think there needs to be a documentary on on his type of tumour, the patients, therapies, diets, cancer experts and research on that. Even discussing the research into the dangers of bluetooth technology direct to your head (Headphones, Occulus style virtual reality gaming).

As an ex Journalist I can tell you there is a lot not getting out there because the money is huge in bluetooth tech and gaming industries but the pressures, heat direct to brain are huge. It makes changes.
Now the gaming side is scary as the tap into points in the brain with the headsets and can be fatal.
These stories rarely go mainstream sadly.
I agree. Glioblastoma is sadly one of the most under funded and under researched brain cancers, meaning it remains as fatal as it is. Have a look at Charlotte Eades on YouTube - she was a vlogger who died at age 19 of Glioblastoma and her family have since set up a very successful research centre in her name called Charlottes BAG. I wish Kelsey had reached out to them or teamed up for fundraising as they have worked so hard to bring funding and awareness to GBM and have been quite prolific.

I lost a family member to this too and it’s definitely something that needs far more funding and general awareness.

THANK GOD this is over. Horrible little narcissistic cav. That last episode just highlighted it

The smile on her face only appeared at the dinner when her name was mentioned, could barely remember the name of the event. Awful.

I know, and even as co-director of the charity she couldn’t even manage to actually attend the golf match in honour of her husband!

A bit random, but I find that Ruthanne incredibly irritating and overbearing.

I’m so sorry for your loss and it’s good to get someone’s perspective who’s been through it. I hope you’re doing ok now

:( Can't believe it's almost been a year already

I remember someone saying devices such as headphones can cause things like that, as well as something simple like sleeping with your phone next to you. I wish there was more information out there about this

Yes it seems a private prototype BUT just what tech are we using now im these VR headsets?
What research went into these VR Headsets to makes as get addicted they can virtually tap into certain parts of the head like fear etc.

Seriously needs to be investigated and just why is it ok to make and market such prototypes?

Kelsey needs to look into this side of the story.
I used bluetooth headphones and had a smart flat and stopped after 8 months due to headaches and strange head pressure.

Im back to wired headphones.

But there is so much research regarding these bluetooth headsets and VR sets there but it doesnt seem to make the mainstream news.

I like gaming but havent used a VR gaming headset and mine was free with a console Im just scared too.

Come on Kelsey please do a documentary on this and see if this is a ocntributor to brain tumours, disorders etc.

I agree, we do need more information about the dangers, and a documentary is a very good idea. I definitely don’t think Kelsey should be a part of it though, it should be an actual journalist whose aim would be to get to the truth, not someone who’s interested in becoming a celeb, it’s far too important for that.

I do agree it seems so fast to move on, 6 months 🤯 I'm 18 months on from losing my Mum to a brain tumour and she is still my waking thought and the person I wanna speak to most each day. However, one thing in her defense, you lose the person you knew with a brain tumour. It may have been only 18 months since I lost my mum physically, but it was 9 months prior that I lost her mentally. Not 100%, but to go from am intelligent capable lady who put everyone before herself, to someone whose memory didn't last longer than an hour and asked me to take away my kids as they were annoying her (....she previously begged to have my kids....) yeah that was the real knife in the heart. So do remember Kelsey had 18 months of hell before he died too
