Australian tour announced, might sell well if she promises to only do one or two new tracks.
I don't know if anyone's a fan of hers but Amy McDonald released a song called Woman of the World a few years ago and it's amazing, everything Katy should have done and did the opposite of.
The fact she has only arranged a few dates makes me think that even she isn't sure whether it will sell as usually it's a world tour with numerous dates, not just a couple of dates in one place after an album release.
As for the album, it might get Billboard Top Ten but at the moment, according to Midweek, it's only sold 40,000. 30,000 of which are albums. It looks like it will get #4 in the UK but has sold less than 8,000 so not great as even her last album Smile which was seen as a huge flop sold more.
God really? I saw a few different accounts tweeting about it so assumed it was legit.
IIRC, it started doing the rounds when she was first called out. I'm not sure where it came from or who made it up but a lot of her fan accounts spread it. She's been asked a few times about why she worked with him and on every occasion, she either ignores the question or changes the subject.
Oh dear, Katy is headlining one of Australia's biggest sporting events this Saturday the (the AFL Grand Final.) It's notoriously bad re acoustics and performance.
I have a feeling she's going to be roasted for it although she probably won't care, she's playing 5 songs and being paid $5 million for it.

While I'm not a fan, Taylor has moved with the times and has tried different genres over the years and realised what worked and what didn't. Katy is still doing the same kitschy stuff she always has. It was obvious when Witness flopped that people were getting sick of it yet rather than go a different route, she doubled down and continued which also caused Smile to flop. The less said about the new album the better.

After the jlo tour disaster you'd think they would sell this tour with affordable tickets and push the old songs. $50 a ticket, no vip tat nonsense and she will sell out.
But everything her team has done this year has been a disaster bar the VMA show, so why now would they start doing sensible things.
