I'm not a Katy Perry fan but the music industry has always had rivalries (friendly or otherwise). Katy had one of the biggest music stars team up with a bunch of other high profile stars to make a diss track aimed at her over some dancer preferring to work for her. I don't think Katy is being paranoid to think some people in the industry are her rivals.
There's a difference though between an old fashioned professional rivalry in terms of ability, where being on friendly terms was almost necessary because otherwise you wouldn't know what parts your rival had gone up for/songs recorded etc, and Katy's modern version of rivalry which is more about sales figures and dominating markets and getting market share - nothing to do with ability, mainly because KP's ability is limited.
Also Stevie Nicks is unique and she knows it, so rivalry wouldn't be a concern to her.

I think fan/stan culture has made "rivalries" worse. They're not content to just support their favourites, they have to attack and tear down other artists as well.

Tbh I think Stevie is being naive if she thinks Katy can just avoid being pitted against other women if she stops thinking about it. Katy's had it her whole career and more than most. Seems like a shady way to try and paint her in a bad light otherwise.
Female popstars careers can be started and ended by these rivalries. Christina Aguilera benefitted from comparisons to Britney but never recovered from comparison to Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga herself then fell foul of comparisons to Madonna that tainted her whole Born this Way era. Katy Perry's commercial decline started right around Bad Blood. Mariah Carey was sunk for years by her ex husband promoting Jennifer Lopez in her place.

I thought it might be a billionaire's joke kind of thing and Bezos is laughing about sending an all female crew up in the bulbous tip 
It's being reported that she might have to cancel some dates as ticket sales are down the toilet. In some US cities, there are still 70% of seat available and more than 50% in others and the same is happening in Europe.
Maybe just do smaller venues, obviously people still want to see her live. She must know she doesn't have the same mass appeal she did 15 years ago.
The prices are too high, she was always going to struggle with that pricing with how broke people are.

It's seemingly happening with a lot of the big names. They are warned that it is hard to sell tickets the way it used to be but think because of who they are, it won't be an issue then they later find out they were wrong. There are even rumours Beyonce is having trouble selling out the big places.

It’s a shame Ariana’s not going, she has a genuine interest in space, NASA etc.
