I absolutely agree that it’s really not clear cut and as simple as taking food away. and she has done a terrible job of raising awareness of his condition by her behaviour she isn’t educating anyone you can see most people who comment don’t know the whole picture and are unlikely to as all they see is her doing her and poor Harvey with a lot of his needs not met. Sending him to residential was the best thing for Harvey but she didn’t really want to do it because she thought it reflected badly on her parenting - about her needs and not Harvey’s. There are some cruel people but most people see Harvey as a lovely funny lad who has disabilities which are being poorly managed by his mum. She put so much effort in when he was little but it comes across like she’s very halfhearted about it now. There are probably a lot of techniques and behavioural support she’s been given and she clearly isn’t doing half of it because she is rarely with him! So when she is with him, she makes a lot of poor choices for him or allows him to make poor choices I think out of guilt. You only have to watch her with him, it seems loving but she’s constantly asking him to validate her as a mother. Do you love mummy, does mummy do things for you, tell mummy you love her.This whole situation with Harvey is so difficult because she is severely neglecting him. She isn't treating him right. She's neglecting and emotionally abusing Princess and Junior. However Harvey is a young adult with severe disabilities and daily life looks completely different, saying full the fridge up with healthy stuff.. that doesn't solve anything. Someone who has PWS will eat anything and everything given the chance to. So many young adults and adults are put into specialist residential homes because their good loving parents just cannot cope/control them/the food anymore.
I was a child with severe weight problems. I was told by my specialist at a young age that I would die before a certain age of I didn't change my diet, my father would and well any professionals I came into contact would. Sometimes the truth (which is Harvey will die) is the only thing which will help, whether they are learning disabled or not. Harvey will understand the concept of death, Harvey is also now a young adult and needs to take as much responsibility for him self as he possibly can but again I'm theory this would only work if he had the right support network which would allow him to be responsible. Katie Price is not the right support network.
I think maybe those of you who are overly critical should go on to YouTube and watch a few documentaries about PWS so you can see that even with correct, loving parenting it's incredible difficult.
I could be overacting and taking this a bit personally however I see many of these comments aimed daily at parents like me, we love our children, will do anything for our children but our children are disabled and face these issues. No amount of discipline, love, respect and support cannot make our children NT.

That's literally all nelegect. It makes me so angry. She has had access to pretty much the best help out there for someone like Harvey and she wastes it because she is too self absorbed. I believe she never truly had children because she wanted them. She had them because she thought she could use them to manipulate others which she has done. I'm hopeful that Jett and Bunny will survive their childhood and come out successful. With Junior I feel like it's touch and ago, I can see him going down the path of drug addiction if he doesn't get the support he needs. Princess I'm extremely worried about and I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't make it past 25. It's actually horrifying how much she has changed in 9 years. Even 5 years ago, which I think is when the video of her meeting the lady and her twin sons dates from, you can see she presents completely differently to now. This is why I've always had a soft spot for her and believe if she gets the proper help she desperately needs. She has the potential to be a good parent but my opinion is she's far too deep into her addiction and too mentally unwell to use that potential or evem realise she has that potential. I believe she is caught in the cycle of mental illness and addiction which leads her to the life she is living.. While she must acknowledge her behaviour and take responsibility it isn't her fault, she has been through so much trauma that it's not surprising she has developed an addiction and mental illness.
