Morning, in parts of the doc I felt sorry for both Harvey and Katie, especially during the visit to the first residential. Harvey became distressed when he entered the classroom, he was very anxious about the door. I noticed that they had edited that segment, I don't think the self harming occurred at that moment, it was a different doorway from the original shot of the classroom. Anyway she then tried to remove him and he kicked at another door, the staff removed themselves from the situation and Katie who was in a wheelchair was left to deal with it. She actually had to call for Hannah to help her. There are lots of reasons for why staff would remove themselves, but it did make me feel a little sorry for her. But why edit?

She didn't prepare him correctly for either visit as far as I could tell. Obviously there's no guarantee that situation could have been avoided. Maybe edited because it was a lengthy lead up to that point & obviously there was only an hour to get everything in . The thing is because she lies about every tiny detail constantly it's difficult to believe anything at all. If she was filmed on the loo having a dump, I'd be wondering if it was a real toilet & a real dump.

Hi @SewerGrapes and welcome, I just want to say hun that while KP and Carl are fair game, I really don’t think it’s appropriate to make fun of Harvey, he is overweight but it isn’t by any means of his own doing. Harvey is just as much a victim of KP as are the tons of people she owes money to, the people she trashes and trolls who don’t agree with her self delusional narrative. So while I’m sure you didn’t mean it in a malicious way it isn’t ok to do that here. Hope you don’t take offence it’s just I was a little offended by it.

I am no KP fan but did watch the documentary as I also have a disabled son...although he has nothing like the issues Harvey does.

I thought KP came across well in her relationship with Harvey, you don't build that kind of relationship up overnight and she seemed to have a very good relationship and knew what worked for him and what didn't. It IS a worry when thinking for the future and I thought that came across well.

I cannot comment on the rest of her parenting but I thought she seemed good with Harvey.

And Dwight Yorke is and always was a disgrace ...I've no idea if he has ever supported Harbey financially but he certainly hasn't been present physically.
